I'm taking graphic design courses using Painter5 and the instructor encouraged me to change my font usage -- I was using only MS-provided fonts. I am also scheduled to take Photoshop and Illustrator next semester. My focus is twofold: to enhance my curren job skills (office admin to software developers/designers) as well as supplement my retirement with a second, home-based semi-career. Roxanne, My name is Patrick Harmon. I have a ten year old niece who wanted a personal web page for her birthday. I ended up using your page sets for almost the entire site. I just wanted to say thank you for what in my opinion are some of the most stylish, cla sy, and charming web graphics I have found on the net. The only modifications I made throughout the site are from the Sad Puppy Set ( I slice the imagemap to make three separate buttons ) and the Purple Roses Set ( I replaced the "Welcome" with "Mom" ). I also used the texture from the borders to create picture frames and applied some textures to the headings for some pages. Roxanne, I love your page sets! I've used about three or four (probably more after I finish this update) on my site and they make it look really good! I've had trouble finding borders and page sets that have a feminine touch about them but aren't downrigh girly and I've found heaps here. I Love your sight. You have really put your heart into this. I just recently got a computer with PSP. I am trying sooooo hard. My three girls take up alot of time and I just loose patience with it. Absolutely incredible site...especially the page sets. One problem, however. The "carved wood" set mentions a blank button that is not there. I am hoping you can email it to me, as I also can't seem to get any emails to you using either the link on the carved wood" page or your main page (the two links are different, btw). How do you make a word with a drop shadow have a transparent background when you place it on your web page? (without a box?) Like you have on this page! I use Photoshop 4.0 and FrontPage 98.
