As you probably know by now, my name is Jay Thompson. My reason for this page is two fold. First, it allows me to better organize the programming related stuff I've worked on over the years. There is a constant need for me to look at some programming examples I have done in the past for something I am working on now. Next, this medium allows me to share my work with literally the rest of the world. People at other institutions have helped me so much so I have decided to give something back so to speak. Also, I realize the demand for programmers have contributed to the turnover that occurs in the MIS department. As a result, the training dollars might not be available for these new employees. It shouldn't be that way (but it is). So I hope these pages can help out when a person just starting faces the daunting tasks of learning FOCUS and/or Uni-Basic. Finally, I need to acknowledge the institutions that have made this code possible. Naturally, these pages would not be possible without them.
