I will convert it to a baritone uke, later.
I started by putting water into the whole joint and along the edge of
the fingerboard extention.
Then the extention was pried loose with sharpened popsicle sticks.
Since the neck was already loose, I pried the neck from the body with
sharpened popsicle sticks (I have a lot).
Just kept wedging in more until it slid off of the pegs. That took
about 1/2 hour.
By looking at the glue left on the body, it looks like the neck shifted
during assembly, my guess.
Even on the top, there's puddling of the glue near the neck joint and
there was a visible gap there.
