I got mine for $20.00 as is with the gig bag.
The first reason that I got it cheap was that it had lots of string action. About1/4"+!
The neck had come loose from the body.

I will convert it to a baritone uke, later.

I started by putting water into the whole joint and along the edge of the fingerboard extention.
Then the extention was pried loose with sharpened popsicle sticks.

Since the neck was already loose, I pried the neck from the body with sharpened popsicle sticks (I have a lot).
Just kept wedging in more until it slid off of the pegs. That took about 1/2 hour.

By looking at the glue left on the body, it looks like the neck shifted during assembly, my guess.
Even on the top, there's puddling of the glue near the neck joint and there was a visible gap there.

Here's that neck.
I noticed that there's not much glue contact here, especially near the bottom of the neck joint
(where it started to separate).

Picture #3:

Showing the sharp edge that got a bit mashed. I'll try and steam it back up.

Now to let it dry for a couple of days before trying to clean up the glue, etc.
