The Great Depression |

This though, is DMX's
best album to date. He brings his street mentality to the album. He is so convincing, it
sounds as if DMX still lives in the street. His new album has some great beats comapred to
his last albums. The worst song on the cd is We Right Here, so if you like that song, you
will like this cd. In songs like "School Street" he lets you know where he came
from, with one 3 minute long verse. He is definitly one of my faviort MC's in the game
today, after this album. He ranks up with Eminem, Jay-Z, and Pac, cause he is definitly
great. |

...And Then There Was X |
Universal/ Def Jam Records |
Released December 21, 1999
Went Platinum |
DMX has been in the
game for some time and knows what he needs to do. In this album has the same old hardcore
beats. It is a good rap cd if you want something different and if you are tired with
rappers bragging about how much ice they have or how much they are worth. If you are a dmx
fan it is a must have cd. |

Flesh Of My Flesh, Blood Of My Blood |
Universal/ Def Jam Records |
Released December 22, 1998
Went Platinum |
DMX is even darker this
time around and that is one hell of a feat! But as always, his lyrics are edgey,
hard-hitting, and to-the-point. And sometimes very deep,he raps alot about God. If he
keeps this up, we could have the next Tupac on our hands... If your a DMX fan this is a
must buy. If your a new fan get his 1st CD before you even come near this one. My
favorites were: "Bring ya Whole Crew", "The Omen",
"Slippin", "No Love 4 Me", "Blackout", "Flesh of Flesh,
Blood of my Blood", and "Ready to Meet Him." |

It's Dark And Hell Is Hot |
Universal/ Def Jam Records |
Released May 19, 1998
Went Platinum |
DMX has an excellent
voice and rap style. I love GET AT ME DOG, X is COMING, RUFF
RYDERS, DAMIEN, FOR MY DOGS, and Nig.. DONE START'N SOMETHING. His songs really depict
street life THROUGH HIS EYES. Great teaming up with Bad Boy's Lox and MASE. Ruff Ryders!
Buy this, all you rap fans! I can't wait to get the second one. |
