Paper Money of Alexandre I and Nikolay I
                                          1818 - 1843

After war with Napoleon/France a lot of phoney currency was in circulation. Old 1786 design was too simple
and too easy to forger. During the years passed, the printing technology have got some serious advace, so it allowed
to change design. In this period of time Russia have used 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 200 Ruble denominations.
25 and 50 Ruble notes were firstly issued in 1818;  5, 10, 100 and 200 Ruble were firstly issued in 1819.
Specimens of 20 Ruble 1822/3 are also known.

Simplest year for 25 and 50 Ruble collectors is 1818;
    also: 1819, 1833, 1843 for 25 Ruble; 1835, 1843 for 50 Ruble.
