Mrs. Norma Faye Copeland Madding, 62, of Palmersville, died Tuesday, July 30, 2002, at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Madding were held Thursday, August 1, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. at Bowlin Funeral Home Chapel in Dresden. Burial followed in Morgan Cemetery in Palmersville. Elders John and Cathy Sheppard and Donald Coltharp officiated the services.

Mrs. Madding was a Licensed C.N.A. and Housewife. She was also a member of the Community Church of Latter Day Saints in Tri-City, Kentucky. Mrs. Madding was born in Weakley County to the late Mason Loy and Grace McBee Copeland. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Madding was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Whayne Madding.

Mrs. Madding is survived by five daughters, Jalia Michaels of Palmersville, Billie Faye Oliver of Dresden, Tammy Stratton of Troy, Kathy Hawkins of Calvert City, Kentucky, and Pat Haynes of Paris; five sons, Loy Mansfield of Palmersville, Elbert Arnold of England (U.S. Air Force), Mike Madding of Fulton, Kentucky, Steve Madding of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Ronnie Madding of Paris; a brother, Jerry Copeland of Palmersville; twenty-six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
