Directions/Use : To run the Port Test utility, execute the /Port Test executive command, using the following parameters which are detailed and described below: [Port ([Comm]A) ] This field is optional. Enter the port designation which is to be tested. [baudrate (9600)] This field is optional. Enter the baudrate setting. [databits (8) ] This field is optional. Enter the databits setting. [Parity n/o/e (n)] This field is optional. Enter the parity. [StopBits 1/2 (!)] This field is optional. Enter the number of StopBits. [FlowCtrl Cts/None (Cts)] This field is optional. Enter the FlowCtrl setting. [Password] This field is optional. Enter the Volume password where the transmit/receive files are to reside. [Rx (y )] This field is optional. The default is an internal buffer. To receive into a file enter: y filename. To verify reception of a string, repeatedly, enter: y '' stringtext. [Tx (y )] This field is optional. The default is an internal string. To transmit a file, enter: y filename. To transmit a string repeatedly, enter: y stringtext.
