OPEN UTILITY Release Level 1.0 This application consists of two runfiles: Open.Run (for Classic OSs) and VMOpen (for protected mode systems) Product Name : Open Supported On : B24, B26, B27, B28, B38, B39, and all SuperGen hardware Supported OS : BTOS II, CTOS I, CTOS II, CTOS III Description : This utility reports all open files on a workstation. A separate command is supplied for Classic systems and for protected mode systems. The information returned includes the FileHandle, Mode, User, Remote User and complete FileSpec. (Presumably the Remote User would be reported if the program was run on a Master and a file on the Master was opened by one of the cluster stations - but it hasn't been verified. It will NOT report a file you have opened on the Master, from the local work station.) The utility is especially useful during development/trouble shooting when running CM, because you can see from one context what files have been opened from other contexts. Directions/Use : The Open and VM Open utilities may be run by executing the /Open command on Classic systems and /VMOpen on protected mode systems. Each command accepts one parameter as detailed below: [Details?] This field is optional. Enter 'Yes' to show a detailed display for each open file. COMMAND /Open [Details?] /VMOpen [Details?]
