Currently, I'm studying in Multimedia University (formerly known as Universiti Telekom) in Cyberjaya. Prior to studying in Cyberjaya, I spent two years at the Malacca campus of the university. I'm currently taking electronics engineering and is now in the third semester of my second year. Besides that, I do some reading on other fields which I'm interested in (whenever I have the time). Here's some info:

• Electronics Engineering

This is what I'm currently studying, so I have no choice but to like it. In the first place, electronics was my last choice. I'm more inclined towards metallurgical engineering (basically dealing with materials, metals in particular) but since MMU only offers only a few disciplines, I decided to take up electronics. No regrets since then. Quite an interesting field.
• Materials/Metallurgical Engineering

This was what I wanted to study while I was in Inti. A very interesting field. You get to know more about metals, their properties, their usage etc. Ever wondered why Titanic sank? It's not so simple as hitting an iceberg!
• Power Systems

Another interesting field dealing with power systems. This is more inclined towards the electrical field. It's good to know how electricity is produced, transmitted and used.
• Digital Signal Processing

This field requires tedious mathematical calculations, dealing with time and frequency domain analysis of signals, design and implementation of digital filters etc. A very interesting field since it gives understanding of many pratical applications. Here is one of my laboratory reports, creating a digital filter using MATLAB to filter out unwanted noises from sound files.
