(Gee ever wonder why I only bother to put games like this one in here.) It has A1 graphics and a great plot and this is one of my favorites this is one of the best RPG's I have ever played so far. The game itself features ACM (Advanced Computer Modeling) it does however have poor animation. I mean look aht the way Mario runs it is like they just speeded up the walking animation frames and used that as the running animation frames they need to have a bit better animation on this game the techs on this game are awesome and espiecally the visuals you get when you execute them are absolutely AWESOME!!! This game (of course in my opinion) is the only game that I have played for the SNES that actually starts to show some of the System's capabilities. (Since it is a being a last generation title. And most if not all last-generation titles are actually made with a bit of effort time and money. They to me are the only REAL GOOD GAMES!!!) (Buy the way guys techs mean techniques or A. K. A. Link form the Legend of Zelda is also sleeping there. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Lambs Lure (Moleville & MarryMore):To get the lambs lure buy the | Mystery Egg (In Moleville) B'Tub Ring (In Marrymore in the hotel\item | shop.) Equip the princess with the B'Tub Ring and use the Mystery Egg! | Have the princess use it of course and after you use with her after 10 | ten times you use it will change into the Lambs Lure! The Lambs Lure | destroys one enemie however you don't get anay expierence or coins from | the enemies you destroy with it. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Grate Guys Casino (Near Bean Valley):Afer you have rescued the | princess from Booster. Go to booster's tower and find Knife Guy play the | guessing game and win 15 times if you win 15 times he will give you a | bright card which enables you to get into the casino! Now go all the way | to bean valley and go to the place where shy away water plants that | develop into piranha plants go and kill the topmost plant and go into the | pipe and when inside position yourself right next to the chain chomps | wooden block and jump up until a platform appears then just hop up to the | exit to the casino. YOU CANNOT GET ANOTHER BRIGHT CARD! | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| 3 Musty Fears (Mario's house, Rose town, Monstro Town, Yoster | Isle): Go and spend a night in the room with a bed in it in Monstro Town | dothis by going up to the mushrrom and pressing A during the night 3 | ghosts will come to you and decide to play a game of hide the flag with | you! After you wake up go to Mario's house and press a while next to | Mario's bed to find 1 of them, then go to rose town and press a while | behind the wooden rose to find one then go to Yo'ster Isle and press a | while facing in between the O and A in "GOAL". Then go back To Monstro | Town and sleep there once again the ghosts will give you a Ghost Medal! | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Geno Whirl (Anywhere): If you somehow execute a timed hit while | using the Geno Whirl it will do 9999 damage to the enemy this is very | difficult to do I have done it twice. Press the a button right before | the ring hits the enemy. A bright flash of white will come up if you did | it correctly! | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Sunken Ship Password (Sunken Ship): There is a password leading | to King Calamari in the Sunken ship here are the clues: | A) IT IS FOUND ON THE BED OF THE OCEAN | B) IT HAS TWO VOWELS | C) IT HAS FOUR CONSANANTS | D) AT LEAST TWO CONSTANANTS THAT ARE SIDE BY SIDE | E) THE "R" COMES BEFORE THE "L" | F) THERE IS AN S IN THE WORD | NOTE: IF YOU STILL CAN FIGURE IT OUT THE PASSWORD IS "PEARLS" | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Culex (Moleville): Go to Moleville after you defeat Punchinello | and buy some fireworks from the guy in the house behind the item shop | Trade the fireworks for a shiny stone at the little girl's Pur-tend Store | (She's down and right from where the fireworks are.) Bring the shiny | stone to the sealed door in Monstro Town and the Shiny Stone Will break | the seal Culex is waiting inside save your game after you break the seal. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Carbo Cookie Thang (Moleville): After you get the sealed door | open save your game and then go to girl in the item shop or somewhere in | moleville and she will tarde you a carbo cookie for it and then go down | to the girl sitting on the bucket give her the carbo cookie and she will | give you a frog coin sometimes if she doesn't hop on top of the bucket | and it will take you straight to the Midas River Course! | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Expierence trick (Land's End): After you go through the last | whirlpool you will end up in a cave there should be a save block there (a | save block is a floating yellow blow with an s on all sides and a star on | top jump on to it to save.) save your game and then get the star in the | chest and then run around killing as many enemies as you can then after | it runs out allow an enemy to kill you then go and grab the star out of | the chest then run around killing as many enemies as you can. Then kill | yourself. And go get the star and do it over and over and over again! You | will average about 285 exp points for each run thru the cicuit (including | the Shaman's star). Get the Shaman's star in the room with the tramploine | he is behind the crates on the left. Tlak to him and pay 400 coins for | another star! (You might want to unequip all of your armor so enemies can | do more damage to you. And also equip the Exp. Booster on someone as you | run thru here to double the Exp Points that character recieves.) | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Lazy Shell Stowaway (Rose Town): Go to monstro town go to the | elders house. Go and talk to the rat on the upper floor then go get the | seed in bean valley and then go get the fertilizer from the shyaway after | you defeat queen Valentina go to the right side of Nimbus Land and push | yourself along the right side you should go into a hidden path and | shyaway will be there he will give you some fertilizer if you let him go | then go take the back path in Rose Town to the old man's house and he | will plant them causing a vine to grow jump on the vine and you will go | up where there are 2 chests on a cloud platform! The Lazy Shells are in | them. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Princess's ??? (Mushroom Kingdom): Try searching to the right of the| princess's bed when you first enter the Mushroom Kingdom you'll find the | 'Princess's ???' then the princess grandmother will take it away from you | wonder what it is???? | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Super Jacket Racket (Anywhere): To get the Super Jacket you need | to jump on an enemy 100 times without touching the ground using Mario's | super jump! And then go to the rat in monstro town and talk to him for | the super jacket! Same thing goes for the Attack Scarf which is 30 jumps. | Here's some tips: | A) EQUIP JUMP SHOES | B) TURN OFF THE SOUND | C) PICK A WEAK ENEMY! | D) CONCENTRATE! | E) WATCH MARIO'S FEET THE TIMING CHANGES THE 14TH JUMP AND THE 21, | AND 22ND JUMP. | Not easy but I hope you can do it. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Quick Cash! (Rose Way): To get some bad needed clams go to the | next to last screen of rose way and hit the boxes before the shyguys can | reach you! You Should get at least 30 coins for each trip you go into | and out of the screens! Go get all the coins then leave and re-enter it | will be there ready for your picking! | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Forest Maze Goodies (Forest Maze): When you hit an area with 4 | paths in forest maze go to Mario's Left, Left, Straight, and left. And | then hop into the tree stump. For some frog coins and items. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Belome Temple Goodies (Monstro Town): After you defeat Belome for | the second time go into Monstro Town and go and talk to the whomp in the | house for a total of 7 times. And the key on the ledge should have fell | down to the ground. Take it and go back to belome temple. (Just jump on | the trampoline.) And get your fortune to say: "Sorry, I am not accepting | visitors past my bedtime." Belome will be down on the next level and he | will ask to have the temple key let him have it and now you can collect | all of his ill-gotten gains. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Frying Pan (Moleville): Near the end of the game go to the man in | the item shop behind the counter and he should eventually ask you if you | want a "Metal Plate." Say yes it will cost 300 coins! After that go to | the equip screen and look for an item called the frying pan equip it on | the princess! (As her weapon.) It is the strongest weapon for her. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Cricket Jam (Kero Sewers): To get the jam go to Land's end and | where the sky bridge is (the row of donut lifts) and look for a hole in | the second cliff that smoke will come out of. Stand right next to it and | wait until smokes comes out then jump into the hole. Go through the cave | and look for a second trampoline jump onto it and you should end up in | Kero Sewers jump onto the narrow platforms to the left where the treasure | box is. Hit the Treasure box there to get the cricket jam. Now go to | Frogfucius and give him the jam he will give you lots of frog coins. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Star Egg (Grate Guy's Casino): To get the Star Egg play and win | Grate Guy's Look-The-Other-way game 100 times regardless of your losses | he will give you it on your 100th win. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Safety Ring (Sunken Ship): To get the safety ring go past king | calamari in the sunken ship and find a room with bloopers swimming around | work your way behind the left group of barrels and look for a door. Go | inside for the safety ring. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Booster Elders (Booster Tower): Here is a list of distingushing | features of Booster's Elders. | A) BOOSTER 1: HAS A BERET ON. | B) BOOSTER 2: HAS A YELLOW CAP ON. | C) BOOSTER 3: HAS AN EYE PATCH ON. | D) BOOSTER 4: HAS SUNSHADES ON. | E) BOOSTER 5: HAS A POINTY RED HAT ON. | F) BOOSTER 6: IS SHOWING A BIG GRIN ON HIS FACE. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Background fun (Not Applicable): On the menu, press and hold L & | R and use the control pad to move the background different directions. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Fireworks (Moleville): If you buy 5 "Sparklers" from that guy in | moleville. He will give you real fireworks the next time you buy from | him. Buy one of these then go beat Smithy your ending will have better | fireworks! Depending on of course, if you have the Fireworks in your | inventory when you beat. And also the more fireworks you have the better | the ending. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Quick Reset (Anywhere): To lazy to get up and reset the game just | press and hold L & R buttons and then press select and start. This trick | will also work on other Super NES Square Soft games. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Cool Glitch (Factory): When you fight the clock if you somehow | attack with Mallow's Sonic Cymbals and do a Timed Hit on one of the Ding- | A-Lings and it destroys him Mallows cymbals will turn into a rainbow | color when he is holding them after attacking the ding-a-ling. (THIS IS | DONE BY LUCK THAT YOU ATTACK THE ENEMIE WITH MALLOW AT THE TIME THAT THE | DING-A-LING IS ABOUT TO DIE!) | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Showering arrows (Factory): When you are going through the area | with the three converoey belts wheeling out enemies be careful not to | touch any of them or you will enter a battle! But to make matters worse | arrows shower down here so just hurry it on through so you wont get hit | by them because if you do get hit you will be stunned and the enemies | will run into you starting a battle. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Expeirence Points AND COINS GALORE! (Factory): After you beat | Smithy's two henchmen and the huge robotic King Cobra. Machine-Made | Yaridioviches will fall down endlessy position yourself on the exact spot | he lands to get into battle with the endless stream of Machine-Made | Yaridoviches. And for each battle you win you will get 50 coins and 60 | Expierence points. If you want to stop fighting him just move out of the | way before the next Yaridiovich falls down! Note: You must fight him | once anyway before you can get to Smithy's 2 henchmen and the robotic | king Cobra to destroy the block that blocks your progress. Drop down | through the hole it leaves after you destroy one machine-made Yaridiovich | to get to Smithy's 2 henchmen. Use the Exp Booster for double the amount | of exp and also use Coin Trick to double your coins. And use the Lucky | Jewel to get another chance to double your coins or exp. (CHEATER!!) | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| KeroKeroColas BUY??? (Tadpole Pond): After you compose the last | tune for Toadofsky (Monstro Star Tune....Look to the Toadofsky's Tunes | section for more info!) she will give you another membership card for the | juice bar. (The juice bar is located on the left most end of the island | where there are 2 tadpoles go to the right one.) And this card will let | you buy a KeroKeroCola form the juice bar for a mere 200 coins each! What | a Deal! | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Sheep's Attack! (Not Applicable): After the Mystery Egg Changes | into the Lambs lure use it around 48 times. It will change into the | sheep's attack when you see the message while fighting: "The Flock Is | Full!" The sheeps attack will take 1 or more enemies with it. You do not | get any exp points or coins for the enemies you kill with it. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Fertilizer (Nimbus land): After you have defeated Valentina and | Mallow has reunited with his parents. Go to the right side of Nimbus | Land and push along the side of the clouds you will go down an invisible | path. Go and talk to the shyaway and he will give you some fertilizer if | you let him go. Keep the fertilizer it can get you two very powerful | items you can use. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| More Places For Tricks (Bandits way, Kero Sewers etc.): There are | some other places which you can do the "expierence trick" as noted above | THEY ARE: | 1) SEA | 2) BANDITS WAY | 3) KERO SEWERS | 4) BARREL VOLCANOE | 5) INSIDE THE NIMBUS LAND CASTLE (WEHN VALENTINA RULES IT.) | 6) MOLEVILLE MINE | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| What if I...(etc.): In the game there are certain things that | will happen if you stand in the right place. Try standing on top of the | back counter in the Mushroom's Kingdom item Shop. Or jump onto the girls | head that is running circles. Or stand behind the counter in the Wedding | Chapel in Marrymore. Or jump on the organ in the wedding hall at | Marrymore. Try to jump on the cake in the downstairs of Marrymore's Chapel| or talk to the girl that is running around in circles in Mushroom Kingdom | after you have Bowser in your party, also try to talk to the man in the | Mushroom Kingdom that calls Bowser a worthless good for noth. | These things just give you a laugh. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Dremain'(Nimbus Land): Use the dream mattress when you sleep in the| inn, eventually you'll have a dream about Toad when you wake up. He'll | give Mario quite a scare, and he will also give him some items. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Culex Crush (Monstro Town, Factroy): Remember the "Expierience | points AND COINS GALORE!" trick beat the Yaridioviches that come down in | the factroy as stated in it except watch for the Rock Candy item to be | added to your inventory and keep on defeating Yaridiovichs until you have | a huge inventory of Rock Candies. And then go to Culex in Monstro | Town and use all of the Rock Candies on him this will seriously weaken | Culex and it will destroy some of his jewels. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| SELL BRIGHT CARD! (Marrymore): The man in the inn in front of the | counter at the inn in Marrymore will be willing to buy your Bright Card for| Grate Guy's casino. Kepp saying No and he will offer you a higher price | wach time for it! But if you want your Bright Card back you will have to | pay him 15 (!!) frog coins. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| COINS FROM WIGGLER!! (Forest Maze): When you see wigglers come out | of the stumps in forest mae jump on thier heads if you do jump on thier | heads you'll get a coin whne you get 10 consecutive coins a Frog Coin will | appear next. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| GAME (Mushroom Kingdom): In the Mushroom Kingdom after you save it | from mack and his gang goand talk to the kid in the inn who is stading in | the corner playing a game he will offer to sell you this game he is playing| for a huge sum of cash! If you buy it you will have a new option on your | menu called game where you can take a break and play the game which is like| Demon Attack except with koopa shells. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Culex Crush 2 (Monstro Town): Get Bowser's Lazy Shell from that old| man in the back of Rose Town. When your about to fight Culex equip the | Lazy Shell on Bowser and the Jinx Belt on him as well then go and challenge| Culex. Let Mario and the others die while Bowser attacks CULEX (not his | jewels) there is really nothing to worry about in terms of damage now just| watch out for Culex's Dark Star attack. Use items to heal yourself, keep | attacking Cules he will eventually run out of FP. Then you have nothing to| fear just keep on attacking Culex til he goes under. Use items to heal | yourself. (Culex's jewels will disappear after he has been destroyed.) | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Wallet (Bandit's Way, Mushroom Kingdom): After the 1st battle with | Croco will also give you a wallet. Go back to Mushroom Kingdom and talk to| the an that lost his wallet earlier give it back to him he will give you | something in return. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Retro Times (Booster Tower): In Booster's Tower walk behind the 2 | curtains in the one room with a stair way. When you come out you'll be the| 1987 Mario. From the original SMB. If you wnat to restore your form try | to run imto the next room. You can only do this your first time thru the | tower. Mario wil remerge from the curtains shaking his head, DEJA VU huh | Mario!! TRY TO EXIT THE ROOM AS THE 1987 MARIO. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Strange Voice: After you save Toadstool and bring her back to the | exit the castle after she has stayed at the Mushroom Kingdom, after you | exit the castle the Princess you come flying down on a Umbrella, go in the | upper right hand corner of the alcove of where she landed to discover a | hidden voice, you can talk to this hidden character anytime of the game, he| usually give pretty good advice. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Do a Good Turn Daily (Mushroom Kingdom): In the "Strange Voice" tip| the conditions are the same except this time talk to the man who you have | returned the wallet to. He will give you a Frog Coin. Maybe that is | Mallow's old Frog Coin...HMMMMM. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Geno Glitch (Inapplicable): When Geno is about to reach Level 18 go| to the Special Menu and highlight Geno and a message about when that next | charcter learns its next spell will say "learns a new technique at Level | 18." HUH!? (Have Mario and Mallow at Level 18 and in your party as well. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| IMMORTALITY...not really (Inapplicable): If someone in your party | is poisoned and they have one HP. The poison will take 1 more Hp away from| them (thereby it should kill them). But it doesn't. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Make you wanna jump! (Land's End): Jump down into the holes in the | 3rd room right before your star invinciblity runs out, if someone levels up| you won't bounce off of the trampoline when you hit it. Jump up after you | hit the trampoline to bounce off of it. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Mushroom (Monstro Town): In the Montro Town weapon and Armor Shop | talk to the Triplets to buy a Mushroom but this Mushroom isn't no ordinary | Mushroom go to the Mushroom boy's Shop in Seaside Town and he will tell you| you don't have any mushrooms. | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------| Johhny's Security System! (Sunken Ship): Go back to the Sunken Ship| anytime after you have beaten Johhny and go to the room where Johhny is in | the room you should see a funnel shaped tube (the same kind you used to say| the password into) go and talk into it. A:She was looking at flowers. ------ 12B) COUNTING GAME When you first enter this room count the number of barrels on your right, then when you close your eyes and open them back up again add up the number of brighter colored barrels and add that to your first total. And reply to the Quizmaster your grand total. In the second barrel counting screen count the barrels in groups of twos, threes, yes even fours. To arrive at a grand total. Tell the Grand Total to the Quizmaster. The number of barrels in each room is chosen at random. ------ 12C) RIDDLE In this game you must guess qho came in what place in a triathalon, it included swimming, cycling, and a marathon. Talk to Bones, Kipp, Goo, and Boo on the left to get clues as to who placed where. Here is a list of who placed where: --- I came in 3rd for swimming...(4th Place) --- I outrode "BOO/KIPP/BONES/GOO" on my bike and "BOO/KIPP/BONES/GOO" was never able to pass me!(1st Place) --- I fell into 4th place during the bike race, but I finally ended up in the same place as I did in the swimming event.(2nd Place) --- I placed the same in the swimming, and cycling events but 2 others beat me in the marathon.(3rd Place) ---------- 13) FIGHTING ROOMS If you know how to fight these 2 courses won't be much difficulty but at the end of the Gu Goomba Fighting course you'll have to fight Chester... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CHESTER HP: 1200 Geno's Techs seem to work well, Super Jump also works well and also use weapon attacks. You should be at level 30 by now... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------- 14A) TERRA COTTA ACTION ROOM In the first room of this course Terra Cottas are jumping from and walking on an invisible walkway. One strategy is to follow the Terra Cottas to the north end of this room to exit but do it slowly because the y jump quickly over gaps. Another strategy is to watch for the invisible platform to flash visible when the Terra Cottas jump and memorize the path and simply walk across it anyway you do it enter the next room... In the 2nd room jump onto the platform that goes OVER the platform you are standing on and run over to the other platforms that fly by your platform to the left (don't worry you can not run off these platforms) when you get to the door exit to the next room. The 3rd and final room is like a flashback to Coleco's Donkey Kong. Run up to the third platform as soon as you enter the door jumping over a barrel on your way and jump & run up to the 4th platform when Kong takes a rest, now wait until Kong throws TWO barrels off of the platform he is standing on then run up to him right before you get to himn though it might be a good idea to jump. When you touch him he will run away leaving the exit open. ------ 14B) BOMB OMB ACTION ROOM In the first room jump from platform to platform. In the 2nd room, jump on the cannonball and yourself to the exit at the north end while avoiding the Bomb Ombs walking around. Use the cannonball to get a boost to the exit door. In the 3rd and final room jump on the first platform then jump on the other one that rotates around it jump on the one that rotates when it crosses the direction you ar4e facing to get to the exit. ------ 15) PRIZES-WHERE FOUND. GAME BOY: After you bring the princess back home talk to the boy in the Inn in the Mushroom Kingdom to purchase his game. Now you can play the game whenever you enter the menu by pressing X. To get a higher score simply shot down shells consecutively. To recover from a hit press the fire button as fast as you can. 2. MIDAS RIVER COURSE: Collect coins while you fall down on a waterfall and green ones which are Frog Coins, press B to gain a little headway against the flow, then you'll collect coins on a barrel race on barrels. In the barrel race it is better to race on the lower route you'll get more coins. At the end the man will give you so many Frog Coins based on how many times you have played this game. Cost 30 coins, upfront free if you sneak thru Kero Sewers. 3. COMPOSE: In Tadpole Pond go off to the left side of the screen to talk to a tadpole he will tell you his fave song and then go and compose it in the next room just to the right. (TOADOFSKY'S TUNE SECTION FOR INFO!) 4. GOOMBA STOMPING GAME: In the Pipe Vault in the screen with Piranha Plants lined up in one row enter the next to last pipe to enter a place with 4 pipes and a mole talk to the mole to play the game if you win once you get a Flower Tab, Flower Jar, then Frog Coins. 5. RACING GAME: In Yoster Isle beat Boshi once in a race and then from now on you can wager cookies and Boshi will tell you the odds against Yoshi if the Odds are low hop off and watch Yoshi if the odds are high ride him. When you win you will get double the amount of cookies you wagered. Go and talk to the baby Yoshi on the left side of the place there will be a nest with eggs in them and one baby Yoshi feed him the cookies you won til he gives you items for those cookies after a while he will just give you Frog coins. 6. PEEK-A-BO GAME: In Booster Tower on the very top floor Booster and his snifits will be opening curtains looking for you the first time you come in the tower avoid all 3 of them, and Booster will open the curtain on you but he will notice the Mario doll he was really looking for. Jump while underneath it to knock it down then Mario will get an Amulet from Booster. If his snifits catch you 3 times, he will fight you. You can only play this game once. 7. SNIFIT PURSUIT GAME: After fighting Grate Guy and Knife Guy, you will be on a hill, the object here is to get up to the princess and touch her every time you do you'll score a flower, but Booster will knock you back and run faster up the hill. Use the Snifits or the barrels rolling down the hill to jump on them and give you a boost but if you hit any of the barrels or the Snifits you'll fall back. You can only do this once. 8. BEETLE CHASE: In Seaside Town buy a beetle cage from the Snifit in the Beetles R Us store then g to Booster hill and catch the beetles all of the same rules apply that were in the SNIFIT PURSUIT GAME. The first time you get Flowers for every beetle after that its just money. 9. ACCESORY SEARCH: In the wedding chapel in Marrymore the first time you go there, after you bust down the second door, the Princess will lose all 4 of her accessories the snifits will find 3 of them. Your job is to talk to all 3 of the snifits to get 3 of the accesories, then jump on top of Booster's head to get the crown. Then talk to Booster your reward here is a kiss from the princess. You can do this only once. 10. MOLEVILLE MOUNTAIN: In Moleville after you rescue Dyna and Mite you can ride a mine cart course free if you sneak thru the mines cost 10 coins up front, if you wager 30 coins you will get 50 coins if you beat the best time. 11. SUNKEN SHIP PUZZLES: In the Sunken Ship there are a number of puzzles. If you solve all of the puzzles you'll get a clue for every one you completed and an item. 12. DONUT BRIDGE DASH: In Land's End you can play a game for 5 coins of jumping across a bridge of Donut Lifts, if you take the Normal course the jumps are very easy the only thing you have to worry about are the Bullets and the time standing on one donut lifts. Special course has harder jumps, in the expert course the jumps are harder,the bullets fly faster, and the donut lifts fall faster. For the Normal and Special courses you can make decent amounts of coins just tell the Shaman at the end you want to try again and you'll double your earnings if you do it again. In the Special course you can win a total of 4 frog coins! 13. SARGEANT FLUTTER'S CLIFF CLIMB: This is free, the entire object is to use the koopas as stepping stones to get to the top of the hill as fast as you can to win prizes. make it under 9 seconds you'll get a Troopa Pin, do it again and win five frog coins if you make it under 9 seconds thereafter. 14. SLOT BOXES: In Bean Valley, with the 5 pipes and the Shy Away. There are several pipes in this room that have a treasure box that will turn into a slot machine sort of if you hit them match all 3 for a prize. A star will gve you a Rock Candy. 15. GRATE GUY'S CASINO: Inn Grate Guys Casino there is the SLOT BOX game mentioned above also you can play Blackjack, and you can play Look-The-Other Way game with Grate Guy if you talk to him at least 4 times. The object of that game is to simply to look the other way Grate Guy points. 16. FLAG GAME: In Monstro Town in the last house on the left the one below Jinx's Dojo there is a Fungi Light and a bed hit the Fungi Light and go to sleep to play a game of hide the flag with 3 demons. The 1st flag is under Mario's Bed in Mario's Pad, the 2nd flag is in Yoster Isle in between the O and A in GOAL, and the 3rd flag is in Rose Town behind the wooden flower. should know who he is. The man who has saved the Mushroom Kingdom a number of times from Bowser. Now he has a new enemy Smithy to fight. He gets caught up in the struggle for star pieces after an unsuccesful attempt to rescue the princess. --- Smithy: The guy behind all the mischief he has taken over Bowser's castle. he has also 3 cohorts Bowyer, Mack, and Yaridovich. Who all cause trouble around the globe. He has a factory he has built, the big sword is actually just a portal to it. --- Bowyer: A lizard who steals a Star Piece from Geno and terrorizes Rose Town by shooting arrows into the town and freezing people into statues he makes an unseccussful attempt at killing Geno. --- Mack: A leader of a gang of shysters. He terrorizes the Mushroom Kingdom itself. By making himself king of it. --- Yaridovich: A powerful monster who first played as an imposter of the citizens of Seaside Town and kept the real citizens locked up in a supply room, and tortured them when Mario wouldn't give them the star piece from Johnny. --- Mallow: A fluffy character who thinks he is a frog but soon finds out that his real parents are somewhere far up above. He knows Frogfucuis whom he calls Grandpa. It is Frogfucuis who tells Mallow of his real parents. --- Geno: A visitor from above who has taken on the form of the doll Geno. To fix the star road. He is very strong, and also very mysterious. So she sneaks out with help from her mom the Queen. --- Frogfucius: He is an elder frog he gets all of his wisdom and advice from the tadpoles at tadpole pond. Tadpole Pond connects with all of the water ways from around the world. He is also Mallow's grandpa. ============================================================================ S M I T H Y F I G H T ! ============================================================================ ALWAYS HAVE MARIO, MALLOW, AND THE PRINCESS IN YOUR PARTY WHILE FIGHTING SMITHY. 1st Phase: This is the phase with Smithy and the smelter together, attack the smelter til it stops functioning. The Smelter will produce several Shypers, so destroy them first and go back after the Smelter. Once the Smelter has been destroyed start attacking Smithy. Heal yourself when needed and attack him with regular attacks until he loses his temper and he causes the floor to fall away. Then comes the 2nd and Final Phase. 2nd Phase: In this phase Smithy will show you his true form and his true power. Don't waste time attacking the body just attack the head. When his head changes into a Tank watch out for his Magnum attack which can kill you on the spot with 1 hit, use Mallow's Shocker spell when he is in Tank Form. When he changes his head into a wizard, attack him with regular attacks and always heal yourself to the max so you can weather his spells such as sword rain and arrow rain which are devastating. When he changes his head into a Toaster just attack him with regular attacks, there isn't much he can do in this form. When he changes his head into a furnace head there isn't any attack that can really hurt him sojust attack him with regular attacks. When he changes his head into a treasure box, be prepared to have your status changed he can even kill all members of your party when he opens up the box. Umbrellas (Umbrella, Parasol): Press A after first whack. ============================================================================ H I D D E N T R E A S U R E B O X E S ============================================================================ LOCATION OF THE HIDDEN TREASURE BOXES IN SMRPG: #1: MUSHROOM KINGDOM Hop on Toad's head the FIRST time when you enter the Mushroom Castle when he is facing the door jump forward you'll discover a platform with a hidden box on the left of it. #2: MUSHROOM KINGDOM Descend the stairs of the item shop to the basement and talk to the man down there he willgive you a lesson of finding hidden treasure boxes, when he tells you to jump. JUST DO IT! #3: MUSHROOM KINGDOM After telling you abut the hidden treasure boxes the man in the store will start to walk around the room when he reaches the lower right hand corner of th room jump on his head then jump to find another hidden box. #4: BANDIT'S WAY Stand atop the spinning flower. Jump up and slightly to the right to find this box. #5: ROSE TOWN Jump on the booksheld behind the counter in the Item Shop to reach this hidden box. #6: ROSE TOWN After hopping from the man's head to reach his house from the hill, go upstairs and jump around on his boys bed to get this box. #7: FOREST MAZE In Rose Town it is whispered that woodland sprites have secreted many tresures in the deep, dark forest maze. Begin exploration by going to the left side of the very first section of Forest Maze. Jump to get a hidden box. #8: FOREST MAZE Elude the Rat Funk in the first underground section then leap on a trampoline to get to the topside once more. Go left and jump to reveal a treasure box. #9: FOREST MAZE When you reach the are with the Wigglers crawling out of the seven stumps, hop down the stump on the far left. In the cavern now go to the far corner and leap to reveal the treasure box. #10: FOREST MAZE Wigglers patrol seven stumps hidden deep in the woods. Hop into the far right stump, stand in the patch of light in the foreground and jump. #11: FOREST MAZE In the section with the 7 stumps, jump down the left stump in the second row, jump into the corner directly behind the trampoline you'll hit a box its empty. #12: FOREST MAZE Before exiting the section with the hollow stump and the Save Block head right and jump to reveal a treasure box. #13: PIPE VAULT Hop dwn the second of six pipes with pirahna plants sprouting. Inside, jump at the end of the tow of blocks to make a platform appear. Jump onto the row of blocks, walk to the second block and jump to make a box appear. #14: PIPE VAULT Another hidden box hovers 2 blocks beyond the previous one. #15: YO'STER ISLE After emerging from the Pipe Vault a box is just to the left of the save point. #16: BOOSTER PASS In the very first section of Booster Pass stand on the plant over the cave entrance and jump to reveal a treasure box. #17: BOOSTER PASS There are 2 exits from the first section, on thru a cavern and the other over a hill. Just to the right of the above-ground exit, jump to reveal this treasure box. #18: BOOSTER TOWER Evade the Spookums while climbing the first flight of stairs. A treasure box floats over the landing. Simply stand on the ark square and jump. #19: BOOSTER TOWER After the Thwomp see-saws you to the stairwell with the parachuting Spookums, go to the far left corner to find this box. #20: BOOSTER TOWER At the top of Booster Tower you'll find yourself in a romm with giant ledges projecting from the wall and a save block. Climb the ledges until you can jump on top of a visible tresure box. Jump on the visible treasure box then jump again to reveal a hidden box. #21: BOOSTER TOWER Before leaving the room mentioned in #20 take a quick jog to the right wall and jump to reveal another box. #22: MARRYMORE Go into the regular room in the Marrymore Inn, climb the bookshelf in the room and jump to reveal this box. #23: SUNKEN SHIP After defeating King calamari, Mario will have an eerie encounter with a ghostly from of himself mario needs to jump on top of the other Mario then jump again to hit this box. #24: LAND'S END Reach the pendulating platform by firing yourself from the very first cannon in this area, and jump up when the platofrm reaches its high point to to get this box. #25: LAND'S END In the second stage, stand between the cannon and tthe platuea and jump to activate a hidden platform, Crawl back into the cannon and shoot onto the platform and jump to reveal this box. #26: LAND'S END Just before you reach the Sky Bridge jump between the 2 purple stationary flowers to hit a box. #27: LAND'S END Hop into the cave beneath the sky bridge and follow the secret passage to Kero Sewers, in the first section of Kero Sewers go to the corner in the back and jump to reveal a box. #28: BELOME'S TEMPLE At the first part of your fortune is fulfilled, a gate will open up and admit you to a passageway with 2 visible boxes. Leap from the wall on to the box from the left and jump to reveal a box. #29: BELOME'S TEMPLE After opening the first hidden box, desecnd the stairs. Stand in the corner to the right and jump. #30: MONSTRO TOWN In the room with the exit of this village stand between the bush and the wall and jump to reveal a box. #31: BEAN VALLEY After entering the valley from Monstro Town, ho down the pipe on the right when you pop out go to the red hill on the left and jump to reveal a hidden box. #32: BEAN VALLEY In the area with the 5 piranha plants growing out of the pipes, defeat the plant on the lower right and go down its pipe. Circle around to the far side of the room and jump to the reveal the tresure box. #33: BEAN VALLEY Defeat the plant on the far right and jump in its pipe. Walk right. The box is halfwaybetween the trampoline and the stairs. #34: NIMBUS LAND Enter the item shop and climb the excess inventory in the back, then jump towards the shopkeeper to make a hidden treasure box appear. #35: NIMBUS LAND Enter the castle and head for the grand hallway with 3 doors, go to the far left side and fight with the bird, then stand in the corner and jump to reveal a box. #36: NIMBUS LAND After defeating Birdo, head out the back door to the room where King Nimbus is being held prisoner. Pause on your way to jump on the treasure box over the lower passageway. A hidden treasure box is over it. #37: NIMBUS LAND Starting in the hallway with the 3 doors, enter the door on the left, descend the second set of stairs. Just before you enter with the Save Block a hidden Treasure Box hovers over ahead. #38: NIMBUS LAND After finding the hidden tresaure box behind the 3rd door on the left, walk straight out into the void. Bowser's Keep: Enter the doors of the castle (which is an automated sequence) and jump over the Terrapins walking in lines. And fight those Terrapins by the door up to the north end of the room. In the next room run thru it and when you get to the door watch the bridge collapse. Go into the next room and run up to the north end of the room, and you'll look around and finally look up you'll see Bowser and the Pricness, you'll jump up to the chandelier on the right and the fight with Bowser will begin.... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- BOWSER HP: ??? KINKLINK HP: About 40 Just attack Bowser until Princess tells you to aim for the chain which is the Kinklink. Hit it twice and the fight will end. Bowser will take you with him down to the floor... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- As you falling down to your doom Bowser decides to tear you into pieces, and he misses and you use him as a springboard of sorts to propel yourself to the chain and grab and hold for dear life. Just as you were about resuce the princess a huge earthquake happens and a huge sword splits the sky and destroys a star in th sky (more about that later..) you are ejected off into space... Mario's Pad: Lots of people use something called a door to go and out of thier houses. Shut da *$^$# up toad! Go outside of Mario's House and talk to Toad, he'll find out of the predicament at hand. And he will ask you to go back to Bowser's Keep, go back to Bowser's Keep. Bowser's Keep: You'll walk up to the bridge find out who the sword belongs to the Smithy Gang. After that the sword knocks out the bridge and you are left looking at a picture of the caslte from "Vista Hill". Go back to Mario's Pad... Mario's Pad: Talk to toad after he learns of it he will leave. Only to rush back when he remembers something after he tells you all he knows, head to Mushroom Way... Mushroom Way: Progress to screen to screen and when you get at the end of the path. You'll come upon a burly looking turtle, approach him twice and you will fight him... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- HAMMER BROS. HP: 60 " " You should be at least at level 4 when you face these 2. Mario's Jump Tech works well, so does Fire Orb. After you defeat the first one, the second will make himself stronger so use weapon attacks on him. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the battle get the hammer the brothers left behind and exit this screen. And go to Mushroom Kingdom... Mushroom Kingdom: Talk to the lookout near the item shop. Then go inside the castle and go up the main hall after talking to Toad. When you reach the Chancellor, you'll explain the situation to him. After your done or YOU THINK your done explaining to him start to wlk awayand he will interrupt you twice and on the second time, he will tell you to go to the vault guard so head to the Main hall and go to the left, and talk to the toad standing guard on a flight of stairs you'll be granted into the vault room. Collect all the items and exit the castle. After the short scene with Mallow, and Croco go and talk to Mallow to get him to quit crying, and to quit the rain. After that he will ask you to help him get his coin back from Croco while your rudely interrupted. Agree to help him and go and talk to the lookout mentioned above in the first sentence of this paragraph. Then after the thief takes off. Exit the Mushroom Kingdom and head to Bandit's Way... Bandits Way: Follow Croc thru the area. When he wants you to catch him go around the bush he is standing by with out touching it and running very quickly to him. After you catch him 3 times a battle will begin. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CROCO (1st Fight) HP: 320 You should be at level 5 at least before you fight with Croco. Mario should cast Fire Orb on Croco repeatedly. Mallow should defend and use HP Rain to up HP. After taking away all of Croco's HP Mallow will run up and belt Croco, then Croco will tear at Mallow after it is over. Then Mallow will get his Frog Coin back. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After getting the Frog Coin and picking up a Wallet. Jump onto the tramp- oline that just dropped out of the sky very close to you it will deposit you back into the first screen of Bandit's Way. Exit Bandit's Way and return to the Mushroom Kingdom... Mushroom Kingdom: The now kingdom is now being overrun by a gang of Shysters to sort out this mess. Head into the castle and go right in the main hall then head into the guest room and talk to toad standing behind the bedpost he'll give you an accessory. Then go back into the main hall and go up into the door to the throne room, in the room before the throne room there are 2 shyster guarding the door they'll want to fight... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- SHYSTER HP: 30 " " " " Mallow's Thunderbolt tech will wipe these enemies up by now. So in other words this is not a tough fight to win. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After defeating the 2 sissies head into the throne room, and after the gang is finished saying the messages of celebration too soon. Walk up to the throne and you'll be stopped by the leader Mack and his cohorts, they give you a roughing up with verbals before jumping in to fight... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- MACK: HP: 480 BODYGUARD: HP: 30 The bodyguards in this battle are same as the Shysters in the above fight then can be easily wiped up by the Thunderbolt tech. You and Mallow should be at Level 6 before fighting Mack. Use Mario's Super Jump tech on Mack. Mallow's Thunderbolt tech stuns Mack but it doesn't matter, & there is no difference at all if you stun him. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After you defeat him you'll get a (??) star. And the 2 cowards left over from the previous encounter will run off. And go and talk to the Chancellor you'll explain the situation at hand once more. Then exit the castle and go and talk to the shopkeeper of the Item Shop to get the Cricket Pie that Frogfucuis wants. Then exit the Mushroom Kingdom and go to Kero Sewers... Kero Sewers: After you enter the pipe outside head to the right of this room and go thru the water to get to another pipe, go to the left of this room to go down another pipe, walk down and right to drop down to another pipe but do not enter it jump onto the skinny ledge and jump over the rat onto the other ledge that has a pipe neter it then find the Exclamation Switch in this room, on the above level. Jump on it then return to the previous room. You can now enter the area that was once filled with water enter it and go down to the lower right hand corner of it to see a pipe drop into it and go and talk to the dog like creatur in the center of this room, he will come to life and attack you... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- BELOME HP: 500 Your party should be at level 8. Use Mario's Super Jump, & Fire Orb tech against Belome. Use Mallow's HP Rain tech to restore lost hit points. After you defeat him you'll be swept away by a huge tidal wave... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Midas River: Eeeww! I don't think I won't to be in the river now thatI have found out that a sewer dumps into it! Well..guess what..your stuck! This is your first game inthe game (get what I mean?) follow the water fall down all the way down to a barrel jumping event run your barrel thru that and you'll hit a rocky coast and drop onto a man's head he will tell you of how many coins you have collected and he will give you a frog coin for every 60 coins you have brought in as a one time special only! (If you want more info go to my "Games" section for more about this area.) After the man gives you a "Nok Nok Shell" (which is a weapon for Mario) exit the area. And go to Tadpole Pond... Tadpole Pond: First of, go up to the stone to the right of your entrance. And a tadpole will come up and talk to you and ask who you are that will trigger a lot of tadpoles to come up and see a demonstration of Mario's jumping ability. After that Frogfrucuis will *ahem* float to you. After he forms a bridge of tadpoles jump across them. And talk to frogfucuis, he will tell of what happened at the beggining of the adventure, and he will tell Mallow to join Mario on his quest, then Mallow will get a HUGE rude awakening about his true identity as a strange ball of puff from the clouds. After he is done twisting your arm to take Mallow along. Talk to him again he will take your cricket pie and give you a weapon for Mallow after he is done giving you this item head back down to where you came down to the bridge of tadpoles and head to the right again to go to the 2nd screen of tadpole pond Melody Bay. Play a correct tune by jumping on the tadpoles and the composer will give you a membership card to the juice bar, what items you can select from the juice bar is affected as whether or not you have all 3 cards. Get them by making the other 2 melodies (Look to the Toadofsky's Tune section for more info). After discovering this place exit Tadpole Pond and head to Rose Way... Rose Way: Hop on the first block, jump of at its first stop, hop on the second hop off at its second stop, jump on the next block hop off and its second stop. Exit this screen to a place with treasure boxes. Head down and right to exit this place, then you'll come to som more flating blocks, hop on the 1st jump off at its first stop, hop on the next block and ride it to its second stop. Go down and right to exit this screen, walk to the right to catch a glimpse of Bowser and his koopas after that head the path they were headin to exit this area, and head to Rose Town... Rose Town: The place is being plagued by falling arrows again it seems that Smithy is behind all the terror. Go into the Inn and agree to play with the little boy and he should miss after you whack him up against the wall. In the next scene you'll see a spirit take the form of Geno the doll. Get up from your slumber in the Inn. And go downstairs. And then exit Rose Town. And head to the Forest Maze... Forest Maze: Walk up and diagonally left to enter the next screen, enter the hollow tree stump, and walk down and right to the spring. Jump on it, walk up and right to the next screen, enter the top left hollow tree stump then go up and jump on the sleeping Wiggler (yellow caterpillar) he'll get mad and thro you upto the next screen, take the path up and left to another screen,enter the hollow tree stump then follow the path here to come to a spring jump on it. In this area there is a Save Box save your game here. Then go into the next screen and follow Geno in these diretions: bottom-right, top-right, top-right, bottom-right, top right, upper-left. You SHOULD now be at an automated sequence now so watch until Mario gets a Bruce Lee surge and the plot is revealed that Bowyer is the one shooting arrows at Rose Town. Then Geno doll comes down and tells Bowyer to give him back that star. Bowyer wil then get mad and start to fire arrows like crazy then Geno will p**p deck him. Then Bowyer will decide to kill Geno and Mario intervenes and saves Geno's life. Then Mario and Geno will fight Bowyer (while Mallow's still catchin up.)... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- BOWYER HP: 720 Mario and Mallow should be at Level 9 at least. Use regular attacks and keep an eye on Geno's HP as well use mushrooms and other items to heal. And if Bowyer blocks the A button out. Use special attacks use Super Jump, and Geno Beam. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the fight and Geno's explanation are over head to the north and walk thru the exit go back to Rose Town... Rose Town: Go to the Rose Town Inn and talk to Gaz (Mario!! Control Yourself!) they will make an unsuccessful attempt at making sense of the situation to Gaz and Mario will try to deck Gaz but Mallow stops him! After your done explaining Gaz will give Geno a weapon for him to use. After this is over exit Rose Town and go to Pipe Vault... Pipe Vault: Just folow tha path thru here there is a game that you can play the entrance is in the narrow hallway with the pipes and piranhas plants, its a Goomba Stomping Game! (More info in the Games section). Anyway, just follow the path thru the PipeVault to get to Yo'ster Isle... Yo'ster Isle: The only real thing to do here is to beat Boshi once after getting some cookies froma pink yoshi near the top of the goal line (did I mention to talk to the Green dinosaur before attempting to talk to any of the others Saddle up on him. Then start talking!) Then go and talk to Boshi to Start a race against him alternate the A & B buttons with the rythym of the music to win the race. After you win or don't it doesn't matter exit and go to Moleville... Moleville: Here a star has crashed into the mountain. Go up to the mine and you'll see a mini cut seqeunce with Bowser fighting with his troops against Smithy. They lose of course, and Bowser will march on to somewhere else. After this go up to the mine entrance and you'll see a woman worrying about the kids trapped in the mine. Enter the mine and say yes to the miners when they ask you a question about if you heard the news or not. Then they will let you use thier shoulders as a boost to get up to the old entrance to the mines. Enter the mine, and follow the path to a trampoline jump on the trampoline only to get a major headache and pass out when you wake up Croco will have stolen some of your coins chase him and run into him to fight him... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CROCO (2nd Fight) HP: 750 Your party should be at Level 10 before fighting him use Mario's Super Flame tech against him, Geno should use Geno Beam, and Mallow should attack him with regular attacks, when you take away half of his HP he will steal all of your items. Continue to fight him with the above strategies if you run out of FP use regular attacks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- You'll get a bomb with your coins you'll need the bomb soon. If you walk down on the track before the room with the star in a box, a shy guy will run into you with a mine cart and when he crashes against a wall he will leave behind a frog coin. When you reach the room before Punchinello with a rock covering the entrance talk to Pa Mole and he will use the bomb to blow open the way to Punchinello. When you reach the room he is in avoid the bombs he throws around and run around him and run into him from the rear. Starting a fight... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- PUNCHINELLO HP: 1200 MICROBOMB HP: 30 MEZZOBOMB HP: 150 You should be at level 12 before confronting him. Use weapon attacks against him until his HP has been reduced 700 points he will then release 3 Mezzobombs ignore the Mezzobombs and go after him with weapon attacks when you drain all of his HP he will challenge Mario and his party, they will accept and Punchinello will try to summon a King Bomb it doesn't work at first that is, until it falls down and squashes him as flat as a pancake... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mario and his troop will decide to scram but the bomb lights up and EXPLODES!!! What could be the fate of Mario and his friends?? They will be outside walking around in a sort of ghostly appearance. Looking for the star piece, finally Mallow notices it and Mario has to jump high for it. Also the party is revived from thier previous death. After you are restored walk back into the room where Punchinello was and go into the next room after Punchinello's room. And you'll find Dyna and Mite both trying to push a mine cart down the rails, when she asks you to push walk up to the mine cart and you'll roll off the screen into a game where a mine cart goes thru a network of rails. (Look to the games section for more info!) After the mine cart ride is over. You'll "drop in" on Pa Mole and Ma Mole. After the breif intermission with Dyna and Little Mite. Walk outside. 3 snifits will be searching for a beetle it lands on your head. They will come and mention a man named Booster who is looking for beetles but he has to keep his "princess from the sky" entertained (TOADSTOOL!!?) AFter this is over go and exit Moleville and press left to go to a new place on your map called Booster Pass... Booster Pass: There isn't much to do here just go thru the 2 screens of this stage and exit Booster Pass. And head on to Booster Tower... Booster Tower: Who is that guy peering out from the door!! Booster!? And who is that in the upper right hadn corner Bowser!!...CRYING??? After he pulls himself together and shouts a few words of hate at you, you'll notice that Princess Toadstool is indeed trapped by Booster. And Bowser will decide to go back to his castle...(YEAH RIGHT!!). Go up and try the door to Booster's Tower its locked. All of a sudden Bowser will come rushing back in when you try to leave...hmmm looks like he couldn't find his castle! *SNICKER* He will then surprise himslef when he breaks down the door to Booster's Tower enter his Tower and go and talk to the Snifit behind the desk to fight him... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- SNIFIT HP: 200 Just attack him with weapon attacks be at least Level 10...thats 2 levels less than the last boss. So in other words this is not a tough fight. You will encounter 2 more Snifits after this one later in the tower. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the "fight" is over. Jump on top of the platforms to reach the upper walkway. And enter the next room which is a stairway up to another room with a railroad climb up the stairwell to the room with the railroad Booster will come by on the railroad on a train, he will try to run away from the train when it passes the column of blocks chase after him to get in a fight with Snifit #2. Use the above tactics for the fight. After the second wussy fight, enter the next room. Which is another stairwell but only this time it has Rob-Ombs walking around on the ladnings. Make it to the top of the stairwell to see Booster run away from behind a curtain. Enter the entrance to the right of the stairs to end up in a room with a treasure box ahead of you, jump down from the lower left tile to land on a see-saw which will send a bob-omb up high in the air and then the Bob-Omb will send you flying up high and you'll hit the treasure box that was in front of you you'll get a very powerful weapon for Mario called the Masher. Go back up to the top of the stairwell with the Rob-ombs and enter the entrance against the wall this time. Next youll come to a room and you'll find a ! switch in it step on it and a door way in Booster's Pass will open up outside. Check it out after youve defeated Booster and get the Princess back. Next you'll come to a room with 2 curtains go behind the curtains for a little fun. In the next room you'll see Spookums on top of platforms climb up to the upper walk way and avoid the bullets the 3rd snifit fires and get up to him and talk to him to fight. Next you'll come to another stairwell with Rob-Ombs patrolling it climb up the stairway and enter the next room, in this next room there is a save block, enter the next room, in this room there is a wall with paintings of Booster's Elders on the wall look at them in order from oldest to youngest to get a key (Look to the Booster's Elders Trick in the Tip and Trick section if you need help.) use the key on the locked door in that room jump up to the chain chomp, Bowser will come out and he will get a weapon the Chomp. Enter the next room, in this next room go up to the whomp on the see saw and jump on the other side of the seesaw to get propelled into the next room, in the next room jump up to the stair well run along to the stairwell into the alcove in the wall you should get a frog coinat the end of the alcove if you jump. Climb up the satirway and go into the next room. In this room, you can get Frog Coins byu running over and getting them but be careful hit the wrong block and you'll have to fight some fireballs. You'll also notice a key in this room get the key and use it on the door in this room, inside the locked room hit the treasure box to get Zoom Shoes. Exit the locked room, and after collecting all of the frog coins go into the next room, you'll be in a stair well with Chomps all around it climb up the stair well and enter the next room, in this next room Booster will show up and harass you with some bombs go behind the wall with the broken pane of glass on it to avoid the bombs. Booster then will leave in tears (HA SISSIE!!). Enter the next room, a Chomp wil be right to your left when you enter so climb up the stairwell, enter the next room in this room are 3 yellow blocks that look like steps up to a treasure block, enter the next room and run into the next room it is where Toadstool is being held, you can't open the door Booster will come in, you'll hide in the curtains then Booster and his Snifits will come in you'll hide behind the curtains. When Booster and his Snifits start a wedding ceremony rehearsel they'll wnat to look for the Mario doll avoid the Snifits as they open the curtains, get caught 3 times by Booster and his Snifits and you'll fight them... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- BOOSTER HP: 800 SNIFIT 1 HP: 200 SNIFIT 2 HP: 200 SNIFIT 3 HP: 200 You can defeat the Snifits by using weapon attacks, you can defeat Booster by using Super Jump, and weapon attacks. The easiest boss fight yet!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Avoid all 3 of the Snifits and stand underneath the Mariodoll and jump to knock it down Booster will then give you a Amulet. While Snifit 3 makes a discovery about Mario after that is over walk into the next room, it is where Toadstool was being held you automattically walk up to the edge and then you'll be attacked by Knife Guy and Grate Guy... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- KNIFE GUY HP: 700 GRATE GUY HP: 900 Be at Level 14 before you fight these 2 Super Jump works well against Knife Guy, and so does any other tech except for Shocker. Use weapon attacks against Grate Guy. It won't take long to dispose of these 2. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Int the next scene you'll jump down to the ground and run to Booster Hill. The idea here is to catch up with Booster and touch Toadstool to get Flowers. (AGAIN! Look to the games section for more info.) After you reach the top of the hill you will be at Marrymore... Marrymore: Buy weapons and armor at the Inn and Shop which are in the same building. Then go up to the wedding chapel and get in thru the back door which is back behind the stand to the right of the chapel. Go downstairs into the Chef's room. Then go up the stairs in the Chef's room the Snifit 1 will see and will want you to use you as a battering ram to open the next door time it so you and the Snifit hit the door at the same time, throwing it open. Then they will shut the door again on you. Now go up to the door and talk to it Bowser will then come out and you will need to help him bust open the door do it just like you did before. After that the Princess will lose her things and the Snifits will find all but 1 of them. Then you will need to get the things from the Snifits by talking to them, BE QUICK! if you get all of her things you will get a reward afterward, after you get her shoes, brooch, and ring jump on top of Booster's Head for the crown then talk to Booster. Then pretty soon afterward Bowser will give Toadstool QUITE A SCARE!! (She jumps up about a mile in the air). Then everyone will want a kiss from Toadstool, whether or not you were quick in getting the 4 things of Toadstool's will now detrermine the outcome... IF YOU WERE FAST MARIO WILL BE KISSED BY TOADSTOOL. IF YOU WERE RATHER QUICK YOU WILL BE KISSED BY BOWSER. IF YOU WERE SLOW YOU'LL BE KISSED BY BOOSTER. If Bowser or Booster kissed you a rather embarrasing (but hilarious) scene will come up now. After that Torte and his assistant will come up with the cake they will then call you a fool for stopping the ceremony, and attack you... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- TORTE /(SHOULDN'T ONE OF THESE BE TORTE'S ASSISTANT OR CHEF'S HP: INFINITE TORTE \ASSISTANT???) HP: INFINITE BUNDT (INFINITE HP TIL YOU BLOW OUT ALL OF THE CANDLES,THAT IS) HP: INFINITE RASPBERRY HP: 500 Be at Level 14 before confrontng this quartet. Ignore the "TORTES" (you can't do any at all damage to them). And attack the BUNDT (the top of the cake). Until Torte's "Assistant" tells Torte that the cake is moving 2 times on the second time Torte will notice it and run off with his assistant now you need to attack the BUNDT until all of its candles are blown out then attack it once more after that, it will die. And now just attack the RASPBERRY, the bottom of the cake, with weapon attacks (its immune to all techs). Keep on attacking the Raspberry until Booster's 3 Snifits will show up and shove the cake down Booster's big mouth... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After that the Princess will join Mario's party. Exit Marrymore and Mario will automattically go back to the Mushroom Kingdom... Mushroom Kingdom: Enter the castle and then go and talk to the Chancellor, after the party explains what has happened to the Princess and how the Smithy Gang came about. After that, Toadstool will decide to stay at the kingdom. OR so you think. exit the castle and Toadstool will come down on an umbrella and join your party once again (see I told you so). Then go back to Tadpole Pond... Tadpole Pond: Talk to Frogfucuis he will tell you that a star has been sighted on Star Hill. Exit Tadpole Pond and go all the way back to Marrymore and press left to go to Star Hill... Star Hill: Enter the stars which are doorways to another place in the stage once you are inside Star Hill. "Talk" to all of the smiling stars on the ground. To see the wishes of people you know or have seen in your adventure around the world. These people have wishes at Star Hill: Toadofsky-Composer in Tadpole Pond, Mallow, Raz & Raini-The newlywed couple, Frogfucuis, Belome, Chef Torte-The chef at the Marrymore Chapel, Mallow's Parents, The Treasure Hunter in Rose Town, Luigi (Mario's Brother)-Haven't heard from in a while huh, Yoshi, and someone I don't know who says they want to be famous. To open up the doors talk to all of the flowers in one area to open the door to the next. In the 4th and final screen of Star Hill in the upper right hand corner is the star piece. This is the only Star Piece you don't have to fight for... After you have the Star Piece, exit thru the Star Shaped door go to the Seaside Town... Seaside Town: Go and talk to the elder of the town which is in the upper left house of the town. And go back to the entrance of town to see 2 guys guarding a door to a storage hous look in the window on the right side to see that someone is held captive in the house hmmm..... Go to the Sea now... Sea: Buy supplies from the man in the robe. Then go into the room to the left and save your game. Then use the expierence trick in the room with the Star until you get to Level 18. Then go back to the room where you would usually get the star and exit it and run aside of the water in the next room. Then exit the room and you'll be outside. Go down the second whirlpool in the water jump on top of the mast and press Down. To enter the Sunken Ship... Sunken Ship: Enter the door along the left wall. And go thru the rooms until you get to an area with 3 doors on a wall. These are puzzle rooms. Closest to you when you first enter this room is Puzzle Room #1. I will go thru and tell you what you need to do... (You'll get clues to the passowrd for every puzzle successfully completed) 1st Puzzle Room: The flying koopa will follow you. Walk so that the Koopa is to the left of the cannonball on top of the platform (the opposite side of the switch) and walk forward so that he will knock downthe ball on to the switch. 2nd Puzzle Room: Hit the blocks in front of the 3 trampolines to stop them so that a cannonball will bounce on top of the 3 trampolines up to the ! switch. 3rd Puzzle Room: A 3-D maze never figured it out. 4th Puzzle Room: Pick up all the coins that the one coin leaves in its trail don't pick up the coin in the lead til it stops moving. 5th Puzzle Room: Hit the block in front of the leftmost cannon it will fire a ball. Hit the cannonball when it passes under the higher block so the ball will hit the block, and the nextcannon will fire hit the ball it fires when it passes under the higher up block, and do the same for the last. 6th Puzzle Room: There is also a save block in this room, jump on the more brillantly colored barrel in the stack, so it will fall down and jump on the left side of the barrel so it will mpve towards the switch on the floor keep on jumping on it till it presses down the switch then jump on to the other switch. In the next room after Puzzle Room #6 enter your password by hitting the blocks and talk into the open pipe there, if you are right the door will open and a huge tentacle will come out the pipe (ulp). (Go to the Sunken Ship Password Tip in the Tips & Tricks Section if your stumped!) Enter the door that just opened to land in a fight... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- TENTACLES HP: 200 TENTACLES HP: 260 KING CALAMARI HP: 800 Be at Level 18 before fighting this battle. You'll fight six of King Calamari's Eight tentacles first. Mario's Ultra Flame tech works well against the Tentacles. While you should use regular weapon attacks against King Calamari. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the fight is over, exit the room with thte trampoline, jump onto the 2nd highest ledge, run past all the cannons into the next room, run down the stairs to exit, enter the door in the next rooms northern wall to see a ghostly version of yourself exit this room, exit the room you were previously in, in this new room go behind the wall of blocks and enter the door behind to get a frog coin exit, and run down the stairs to exit the previous room, in this room is a save block save your game, and hit the treasure box up ahead, a Hidon will attack you... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- HIDON HP: 600 GOOMBETTES HP: 100 Be at level 18 before fighting him, weapon attacks works well so does Geno Flash against the Hidon, use Weapon Attacks on the Goombettes (its best to ignore the Goombettes and attack the Hidon). You'll get a Safety Badge after the fight is over. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Exit the room with the Hidon and go underwater in the next room and get the 4 frog coins underwater and take the underwater exit and run down the stairway with the Zeostars, Get the frog coin in the new room with the Blooper and its babies in the upper left corner above the water, and also get the safety ring in this room by walking around the underwater barrels into the door behind the barrels to get the safety ring in the box, exit the Safety Room, and exit the previous room, you'll come to some Bandana Reds who will fight you... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- BANDANA RED HP: 120 Just attack really, be at level 18. An easy fight. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- the Bandana Reds will run you over as you go up the stairs, they will notice you when you stand up then some other Bandana Reds will roll a barrel down the stiars you dodge it and it kills some of the Bandana Reds, go up the stairs and you'll fight some mre Bandana Reds, after the fight is over enter the room, and fight Johnny... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- JOHNNY HP: 820 BANDANA BLUES HP: 150 Be at Level 18, use Geno Flash to Kill the Bandana Blues and use weapon attacks on Johnny until he challenges Mario when your playing as Mario just use weapon attacks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the fight is over and you get the star, go into the next room and jump on the trampoline to go back to the map screen, go back to the Seaside Town... Seaside Town: A fiend called Yaridiovich was impersonating the citizens of the Seaside Town, deny him the star 4 times for fun to see what happens then give it to him, then chase him up to the beach the beach's entrance is in the upper left of town next to the Elder's House. Yaridovich will decide to take a swim but Johnny shows up and that leaves Yaridovich cornered so he decides to take off his disguise and attack... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- YARIDOVICH HP: 1,500 Be at level 18, have the princess in your party so you can heal with Group Hug. Attack Yaridovich with weapon attacks, when he splits into 2 forms use Mallow's Psychopath spell to determine which one is real press Y right before the cloud comes up, to see a quote the real Yaridovich's quote will be: "My promotion's at stake". the fake's message will be: "I'm not the real McCoy!". Attack the real Yaridovich ignore the other. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Pick up the key that Yaridovich leaves behind, and then look at the note Johnny left behind on the rightside trees, then use the key to unlock the door that has the real village members in it. Then, go up to the elder's house and talk to him. Exit Seaside Town and go to Land's End... Land's End: In the first screen jump into the cannon and launch yourself to the opposite platform, do the same in the next room, in the room with the Geckits patrolling on top of some pillars, jump across those pillars to go into the next room. In this room with the bees jump from cliff to cliff using the spinning flowers and in this next room jump across the donut platforms to get to the other side of the platform, and exit this screen, in this room talk to the rat standing next to you, answer yes when he asks you if you are going to Monstro Town. And follow his advice jump in after the ant that pops up out of the whirlppol in the sands, when you touch the ant he attacks... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- SHOGUN HP: 150 Attack with your weapons, thats all. They will Vigor Up when they are close to dying. You'll give them more damage then with your weapons. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- And one more thing while youare running around in Land's End running after the ant you may see a white cloud floating around touch it and you'll be attacked... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- FORMLESS HP: 10 MOKURA HP: 620 Be at Level 20, before confronting the Formless. Attack the formless once with a magicl tech it will change into the Mokura. Atack the Mokura with any magic type except for Lightning. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- When you finally reach the cavern with the save block save your game then use the "Expierence Trick" to build your levels up to 24, then when you are in the room with all the geckits and the trampoline run up to the northeast cave and enter to end up in Belome's Temple... Belome's Temple: Run thru the first room, talk to the Shaman t get your fortune read, you need to get it read to be able to pass thru here. After you choose one of the above sequences go up to the brick thta fell down to read your fortune, then jump on top of the brick and jump again to go into the next room, go down the pipe, and go thru your fortune when you get to another switch jump to hit it and get the message to say "Mmmm! I'm so hungry I wish I had something to eat!" Everyone else should use weapon attacks aginst Belome and the Clones. The clones that Belome makes can't use your spells and they don't have the same ratings as you do. Fighting Belome was the only way to get to Monstro Town! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Go thru the pipe after defeating Belome in the next room to go to Monstro Town... Monstro Town: Talk to all the villagers, in the building with the "J" symbol out in front of it, you can fight Jagger... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- JAGGER HP: 600 Just attack, he can't do much except punch you and he is very weak. Geno Flash also causes some major damage. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After you defeat Jagger the sensei of the dojo-Jinx will show up if you talk to him he will challenge you for a total of 3 times... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- JINX (1st Battle) HP: 600 Use Geno Flash and weapon Attacks. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- JINX (2nd Battle) HP: 800 Attack him until he goes under, watch out for his Silver Bullet attack it can kill you on contact. To keep it from killing you do a timed block. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- JINX (3rd Battle) HP: 1000 Be at Level 25!! Attack him with weapon attacks until he valors up and then vigors up. Then use Super Jump on him. Have Toadstoll in your party to heal. You'll get a Jinx Belt once the fight is over. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After you are done sparring with Jinx (you don't have to defeat him all 3 times in one try.) Go and enter the building with the V shaped piece of wood above the door, and talk to the MonsterMama (the village elder) go up stairs and talk to the Starfish upstairs and then go back down to the MonsterMama and talk to her once more. She will call a trio of Para- Troopers to help you get over Land's End. After they fly out, you fly out to Land's End... Land's End: When you hit 2nd screen with the 2nd whirlpool don't enter it instead enter tnext room, to the left and continue til you find a huge cliff the Para Troopers will fly out and take postions, you must jump from shell to shell to reach the top of the cliff. When you do exit the screen to go to Bean Valley... Bean Valley: Go down the 2nd pipe to your right, go down the pipe to your left, exit this screen, in the room woth the 5 pipes and the Shy Away. If you go and defeat the Piranha Plant in the rightmost pipe after the Shy Away has watered it, and drop down thru the pipe, you'll encounter the Box Boy in the Treasure Chest... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- BOX BOY HP: 900 Use Mario's Suepr Jump. Be at level 24, use weapon attacks on Box Boy, and the monsters he spits out. you can encounter other Box Boy's in other pipes if you fail at matching the icons in the treasure boxes. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Exit the 5 pipe room to come to another harmless Piranha Plant, after the Shy Away waters it jump on it to fight the not so harmless Smilax... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- SMILAX HP: 200 MEGASMILAX HP: 1000 fire magic works well on the Smilaxes, be at level 25. also use Geno Flash on the Smilaxes. The Shy Away will visit four times adding more Smilaxes for you to defeat three times, however on the 4th time he will give you 2 More Smilaxes and a MegaSmilax to defeat. Use Super Flame on the Megasmilax and Geno Flash as well. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the fight is over, go down the pipe that Smilax was growing out of, to end up in a room with a brick hit the brick tomake a beanstalk grow, hti the block on more time to climb it. Collect teh Frog Coin on the tallest vine in the first vine screen, in the 2nd vine screen take the left tallest vine, in the 3rd vine screenjump while on top of the yellow vine to reveal a block then go up. Here get the 2 boxes. Drop down into the hole you didn't come out of, collect those 2 boxes. Then drop down again, jump on the trampoline here to go up to 2 more trampolines jump on the one to the north to go to Nimbus Land... Nimbus Land: After Valentina's announcement go and stockp up on new armor and weapons, and go into the upper left and look at the statue of Mallow, Mallow will find out he is a prince. nad promptly go to rescue his parents but the guards kick him out. Then Garro will come up with a plan to put Mario in a statue disguise. Garro will take you into the castle after he has put you into the castle. Valentina will come out and inquire about the statue, after Garro says some BS. Dodo will put you on a pedestal after he leaves exit this room and try to exit the next room, Dodo will come back in to the room you where just in, he will peck the statues when he is about to peck you jump so he misses. If he pecks you twice he will fight you... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- DODO (1st Battle) HP: 800 Geno Flash and Super Flame work well on him if he silences you use weapon attacks. Be at Level 25. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you didn't get caught by Dodo once you will pick up a Feather in the next room. After the room where you got the feather, you true ID will be revealed. After that make your way thru the castle fighting and killing all the enemies to build your expierence, til you get to a room with 3 doors. Ignore the center door its locked. Enter the left door, and go thru these rooms to end up in a room with a svae block talk to the man in the room to get the key for the center door. Talk to the man in Blue to get a Flower Jar. Go back to the 3 doors use the key to open the center door and talk to the egg in the center of the room to fight it... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- SHELLY HP: 50 BIRDO HP: 777 EGGBERT HP: 10 Attack the Shelly with weapon attacks til Birdo comes out of it. Attack the Shelly 5 times. Attack Birdo until he says that your hurting him. Now you have 2 options: 1 Defend so that the eggs that Birdo spits (Eggberts) will ricohet off you and land next to Birdo. Then ttack the eggs so they'll explode to cause Birdo 70 HP worht of damage per Eggbert. 2 Attack him outright. Its better to attack him outright. Be at Level 26 for this fight by the way. After the fight is over Birdo will give you the Key to the next room. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Use the key to open the door, to the next room, in this room avoid the fan (Pinwheel) by the wall which blows gusts of air to knock you off of the platform, in this room look at the note on the wall, Bowser will make an unsuccesful attempt at breaking down the door. Then after the Shy Away makes a visit, enter the next room, kill the Heavy Koopa guarding the doorway to enter the throne room. After the trio leaves the throne room, go after them save in the next room thn beat up the 2 Bluebirds, in this next room you cna perform the "Expiernce Trick". If you run into Dodo near the end of the corridor without being invincible you'll fight him... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- DODO (2nd Battle) HP: 1000 Use Super Flame against him as well as anything else mentioned in the last fight with him. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After you have fought Dodo another time. At the end of the corridor you'll fall down 30ft. After your done falling, go back up to outside the castle. Valentina will call for Dodo but to no avail. Finally he shows up and takes one of your party members with him to fight him... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- DODO (3rd Battle) HP: Varies Attack him with weapon attacks heal yourself after he uses Multistrike. After you have defeated him. The fight will switch back to Valentina and your other 2 members... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- VALENTINA HP: 2000 DODO (4th Battle w/Valentina) HP: Varies Attack Valentina until Dodo shows up with your party member. Then attack Dodo until he stops moving. The just attack Valentina, watch out for her magic! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After Valentina flies away a kep will drop from the sky. Mallow will then use the key to open the room where his parents are being held, after a short rainstorm Mallow will come out and summon Mario and the rest in. After you talk to the king and queen exit the castle and go to the house to the right of the castle Croc is in inside talk to him and he will run into a wall. Dropping a Signal Ring. Take it, then walk along the wall in front of you to discover a hidden pass in which the Shy Away is hiding in to get some fertilizer. Then head back to where you landed from your 30 ft drop earlier and talk to the men to enter the hot springs, jump in the Hot Springs to heal yourself. Then walk off the right exit to land in Barrel Volcano... Barrel Volcano: Find your way thru the volcano it isn't that hard it is a one way course, until you get to Hinopio's Shop, go to his Armor Shop to buy new armor equip it then exit, and save in the next room, and enter the next room jump across the platforms to enter another room, the Czar Dragon is waiting for you... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CZAR DRAGON HP: 1400 ZOMBONE HP: 1800 Ice attacks and Ice Magic like the Ice Bomb Item, and Snowy work well on the Czar Dragon, Ignore the Helios, those rockes that the Czar Dragon kicks up. Be at Level 28 for this fight. Everyone besides Mallow should attack with weapon attacks til the Czar Dragon changes into the Zombone. Attack the Zombone with Shocker and weapon attacks. Finally a halfway challenging Battle!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Exit the boss room to the north to get the star piece but the Axem Rangers will steal it from you. Follow then thru the rooms and jump on the trampoline at the end. When the Blade shows up, you'll fight the Axem Rangers... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- AXEM PINK HP: 400 AXEM YELLOW HP: 600 AXEM BLACK HP: 550 AXEM GREEN HP: 450 AXEM RED HP: 800 AXEM RANGERS HP: 999 Attack the Rangers with magical attacks that hit everyone such as Ultra Flame, Ultra Jump, Snowy, Geno Flash. After a ranger says something that means he has quit fighting. After 2 rangers quit, Axem Red will Vigor Up. Attack til all of the rangers stop fighting, Red will then hop on to a menacing looking cannon (Axem Rangers). Attack it with Super Jump and Weapon attacks til it fires the Breaker Beam. Then heal yourself keep it up until Red jumps off and Blade explodes. Be at Level 28 by the way. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- You'll get the star back after you defeat them. Then go back to the Nimbus Land... Nimbus Land: Go and talk to th eking and queen again to use the bus. Go to the left side of town. nd enter the area where the bus is then talk to the man there. The bus will show up, you'll use it to go to Bowser's Keep... Bowser's Keep: Find your way thru the castle until you get to an area with 6 doors. 2 of the doors are games, 2 of the doors are fighting stages, the other 2 are action stages. You need to get thru 4 doors in order to proceed. When you get out of the last stage you were in, you'll fall down again. Save your game, and head into the next room to fight the Magikoopa. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- MAGIKOOPA HP: 1600 JINX CLONE HP: 320 KING BOMB HP: 500 Use anything against the Magikoopa himself. He can summon, monsters like the Jinx Clone and King Bomb. You must defeat the enemies he summons before you can attack the Magikoopa again. Use weapon attacks against the monsters he summons. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After you defeat the Magikoopa he'll come back to his senses and create a Magic Treasure Box, it will never run out of coins. Go into the door on the left and buy the strongest armor in the game from Croco. After you are done exit the shop room and enter the other door, go thru the corridor of whomps and bullet bills. And exit the corridor, run to the end of the room where you will encounter Boomer... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- BOOMER HP: 2000 You can't attack the Chandeil-ho in this battle at all. Shocker works well, Star Rain works espiecally well. Watch out for Boomer's Shaker attack it can kill you on contact. After he turns blue, attack him with weapon attack til he goes under. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After Boomer commits suicide, you'll be lifted to the top by the Chandeil-Ho to fight Exor... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- EXOR HP: 1800 LEFT EYE HP: 300 RIGHT EYE HP: 500 NEOSQUID HP: 800 Attack the Neosquid til it can't attack you anymore and it is hanging down. Then attack the eyes until they both are squiggly then go after Exor. Repeat this process, til you pulled into the factory by Exor.... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Factory: After Geno and Bowser trade some verbal quips. Head into the next room. Get across by jumping on the bolts and exit this screen in teh upper right, do the same in the next screen. In the 3rd screen jump on the switch and exit, save your game in this room, in the next room hit the treasure box for a Ultra Hammer, jump on the trampoline next to the chest to land on a bolt and get to the other side, on the other side jump on the trampoline here walk forward and you'll be attacked by a clock... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ding-A-Ling HP: 1200 Count Down HP: 2400 Attack and destroy the Ding-A-Lings first so they can't kill you on contact with thier Doom Roulette attack. Use weapon attacks as well as Mallow's Shocker spell it works well against the Ding-A-Lings. Now attack the countdown. It would be a good idea to equip Mario with the Lazt Shell and have Geno cast Geno Boost on him over and over again. The countdown will call up a spell based on what hour it is pointing at. You should be at Level 30 by now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Once the fight is over Save your game and jump on the trampoline, nwo you are in front of a conveyor with Machine Made axem rangers falling off of it. Just ahead of that conveyor belt are two moving platforms, fall of of one to end up in a corridor run down the corridor to the next room where 2 boxes are waiting. Now go back up to where you were, exit this room, to come to a room with 5 conveyors all turning out enemies, try to run past them as fast as you can to avoid being hit by the shwering arrows in this part. In the next room, you'll encounter Machine Made Bowyers milling off of a conveyor belt right in front of you there is noway you can avoid a battle with Bowyer it is an easy battle just attack. After the 1st conveyor there are more Machine Made Axem Rangers, again its an easy battle. after you pass the 2nd coveyor exit this room and save in the next. In the next room ignore the cascading Machine Made Yaridoviches, and the Ninjas milling around and enter th room to the norhtwest corner, 2 boxes are waiting there. In the previous room get in a scrap with one of the Machine Made Yaridoviches and beat him to cause the brick to explode, drop down into the hole the brick left to fight DOMINO and CLOAKER... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- DOMINO HP: 900 CLOAKER HP: 1200 MAD ADDER HP: 2500 EARTH LINK HP: 1500 DOMINO W/MAD ADDER HP: 900 CLOAKER W/EARTH LINK HP: 1200 These 2 Domino and Cloaker are exact opposites--Cloaker has great attacking ability, while Domino has great Magic abilities. If I were you Id defeat Domino first with weapon attacks, and then Cloaker will attach himself to the Earth Link. If you ignored my advice you'll have to fight Domino on the Mad Adder which is a more tougher fight because the Mad Adder and Domino can cst some devastating spells while Cloaker and the Earth Link can't do much of anythin to your party. The Mad Adder may have less HP but I would still only attack Domino in the first part of the battle. At any rate, attack the Earth Link (or Mad Adder) and ignore the guy on top he will disappear once the support is gone. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the fight go up on the trampoline to save then drop back down and enter the actual weapons factory. In this first room you'll fight some Mad Mallets and easy fight. Then you'll fight the clerk... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CLERK HP: 500 MAD MALLET HP: 200 Concentrate on the Clerk with weapon attacks and ignore the Mad Mallets. It should only take 3 weapon attacks to get rid of the clerk then the Mad Mallets should run away if they don't then kill them anyway. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Toad will make an appearnce along with some items, then enter the next room to fight the Manager, same tactics applay as the last battle. After Bowser gets a hug from Mario head into the next room to fight the director same rules apply. Save at the endof this room, then walk into the next room to fight the Factory Cheif and his Gunyolk... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- FACTORY CHEIF HP: 1000 GUNYOLK HP: 1500 Have Toadstoll in your party to heal after the Gunyolk shoots the Breaker Beam, use weapon attacks on the cheif, then use princess's mute spell on the Gunyolk, then use weapon attacks and Mallow's Snowy Spell against the Gunyolk. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the fight is over and Geno talks jump onto the switch where the Gunyolk was to fight Smithy...(Go to the Smithy Fight section for info!!) However, HP does increase periodically and so does your Defense and Magical Defense. The member affected looks like a mushroom. ----- 5: SCARECROW: The member affected cant use items or weapon attacks.
