USER INTERFACE
A. GUI Screen Shots with Narratives:
SYSTEM LOGIN:
The main users of the system will have to enter a predefined user password in order to access the bank’s system. They will have full access to the system: that is the ability to view, add, delete, and edit information. Only a limited number of people can enter the system and since the access pin numbers are private, security and control as to who uses the system is ensured.
ACTIVITY OPTIONS:
This window allows the users to access frequently performed tasks by clicking "yes" on to the appropriate button. This will lead to various input and output windows. The list of activities shown on the window buttons is based on discussions with the users about their present activities.
TYPE OF REPORT/CHECK DATES:
This will be displayed when the End of the Day Reports is selected in the Activity options window. This will allow the users to select the type of report needs to be printed. If the Individual report is selected, another screen requesting the users password is displayed. After the type of report has been selected, a general screen will appear requesting the user to verify the date and time of the report. Once the date and time have been cleared, the system will ask the user if the report should be printed. The example is based on discussions with the users.
GENERAL ITEMS:
A "Help" button will be provided on all user interface screens. This will provide the user with information on the usage of the system. This feature will be reviewed and updated in consultation with the users on an ongoing basis after the system is implemented.
