YMCA/YWCA Youth internship in the federal public sector program ! The internship is made to give a young inexperianced person some experiances
in the federal gouvernement public sector
The aplicant is offered a P.E.T. (Pre Employment Training) an 9 Month of
workplace experiances.

The P.E.T. covers a lot of thing form Resume writhing to computer basic training
there is many guest speakers and the monitors are fun and interesting.

The 9 Month of worksite experiance is different from one to an other
depending on the worksite offered to the aplicant.
All I can say is that my own experiance is great I am at my 1st month at the
worksite and everything is cool my mentor (superviser assined to me for the
duration of the internship) is checking if I like what im doing often tels me
that if I am bored to let him know that he would give me something else to do.
and everybody else is fun to work with always ready to help and understanding too
I am working at the D.N.D. (Departement of National Defence) clothing store
I have been doing some filing, shelfing, data entry, and more wich is good for
my personal work experiance. I have found a other job (otside the internship)
but I think that I will try to continue the internship program anyways
just to add-on to my experiances, the only reason that I would quit would be
that I ham offered a waranty of employement for 9 month at least.
Dont get confused I like the two jobs I prefer the one outside the internship program
But the program is garanteed to last 9 month not the new job wich is more
of my interest (computer repairs, network desing and more)
