This just might be my personal favourite. Makes a great wallpaper too. The scene is lit by the torches along the walls, and each torch is an area light. The bricks were done with textures instead of pigments to get the bumps. No real fancy effects here, but a lot of attention to detail. Final rendering time on my Pentium 100 was 11h45m.
Still room for improvement: The major flaws are the floor (one solid block right now!), the ceiling (the grain is consistent from plank to plank, and it curves neatly at the center), and the torches (each flame is identical). But none of these are obvious.
