· Directed a Customer Management package selection process.
· Responsible for the implementation of a Siebel Service Enterprise application.
· Responsible for ongoing administration of Siebel Service Enterprise application.
· Managed twenty pre and post-sales service representatives.
· Negotiated fees for post-sales services with an international network of dealers and end-users.

Complete Business Solutions, Inc (CBSI) (formerly BSG Alliance/IT, Inc.), Atlanta, GA

Senior Manager
· Responsible for business development, delivery oversight, and project management of a consulting group that generated over $2 million in revenue in 1996.
· Responsible for formation, recruiting, business development, delivery oversight, and project management of a team of call center package implementation consultants which generated over $1 million in revenue in 1997.
· Managed the implementation of the Clarify ClearSupport, ClearTelebusiness, and ClearLogistics modules at a major software vendor.
· Implemented the Scopus Enterprise software package at a major manufacturing company.
· Designed and developed a new Budget Reallocation module in Smartstream and built numerous modifications to Geac (formerly Dun & Bradstreet Software) financial modules using PowerBuilder and Sybase stored procedures and triggers.

Formed and directed package customization and implementation teams. Maintained relationships with vendor partners (including Vantive, Clarify, Scopus, Geac, and Quintus) and worked closely with vendor sales representative for business development.
Led all aspects of implementations of call center packages at customer sites. Installed and configured SQL Server NT. Converted customer data from a SQL/400, MS Access, Unify, and proprietary databases to SQL Server. Gathered, documented, and prioritized user requirements to determine overall project scope. Performed Gap Analyses and created estimating guidelines to determine the time and effort necessary to implement customizations. Conducted Conference Room Prototype/Design sessions. Determined and recommended reengineering of support processes to improve productivity of support and telesales groups.
Responsible for directing the development of a batch reporting architecture and associated reports at a major multi-unit retail company. Developed project plans, reviewed project deliverables, evaluated team members, and monitored project progress. The reporting architecture was developed in PowerBuilder and reports were written as Sybase stored procedures. Additional report formatting was developed with VBA code as MS Excel macros. Reports were generated based upon a system of report subscriptions and distributed to subscribers as attachments to Lotus Notes messages.

· Developed a Computer Aided Mass Appraisal System using PowerBuilder and Informix for the city of Fairbanks, Alaska.
· Determined project workplan, design standards, and application framework.
· Developed a helpdesk application in PowerBuilder and SQL Anywhere.

Sterling Software, Atlanta, GA
December 1992 - November 1994
Support Manager
· Directed an eight-member team providing customer support for the Sterling Software's (formerly KnowledgeWare) ObjectView, Clear Access, and Clear Manager software products.
· Led support team that twice received Software Magazine's Award for Excellence in Software Service & Support.
· Managed a development team that created a support contract verification system used to verify that call center customers had purchased support contracts.
· Responsible for requirements gathering, user and system interface design, and report development during the implementation of Scopus call center application.

Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and mentoring new team members. Determined service level agreement and support objectives. Evaluated performance of team members to determine promotions and salary increases. Tracked team performance and reported results to management.
Managed a QA team conducting an internal acceptance test of ObjectView and related products. Determined testing approaches and project workplan. Documented, prioritized, and tracked the status of over one hundred software bugs identified during the QA process.
Served as the Lead Technical Support Representative responsible for providing the highest level of support to customers and mentoring team members. Researched, resolved, and documented technical issues related to developing client/server applications with ObjectView. Configured and documented ODBC connectivity from front end tools to numerous database engines and data sources including Lotus Notes, SQL Anywhere (WATCOM SQL), SQLBase, and SQL Server.

Manager
· Managed a helpdesk team providing technical support and project data administration during the implementation of a customer information system for a public utility company.
· Served as technical lead for pre-sales calls and presentations.
· Provided post-sales support to Andersen consultants and FOUNDATION customers.
· Served as lead programmer during the implementation of a Systematics Real Estate System.

Responsible for developing a service level agreement, determining helpdesk objectives, support plans, and procedures. Developed Novell LAN administration procedures. Tracked project progress and tasks. Evaluated team members. Solved programming problems for project developers and taught Novell training classes.
Supported Sales Directors for software pre-sales activities including product demonstrations and presentations and responded to customer RFIs and RFPs. Supported local consulting offices, industry groups, and service line product sales activities.
Helped customers develop product implementation strategies and define implementation workplans using Andersen's METHOD/1 methodology. Helped customers form implementation teams and trained teams in FOUNDATION products. Helped organize on-site support teams and develop support plans. Developed application prototypes using FOUNDATION for Cooperative Processing (FCP) development tool. Designed and coded both OS/2 and Windows clients in MS C.
Lead developer responsible for designing, coding, and testing COBOL conversion programs. Developed user procedures, system overview training session, and trained client users.
Designed financial statements and reports during the implementation of Dun & Bradstreet M-Series GL and AP Systems using the DRW and Viewprint report writers.

Military Service:

Served in US Army from February, 1982 to January, 1984. Received honorable discharge, top secret special intelligence security clearance, and Army Achievement Medal.
Served in Massachusetts Army National Guard from April, 1984 - March, 1986. Received honorable discharge.
