Larval offspring of the Sand and Sea Dragons, the Sandshark is a voracious predatory organism which survives for one purpose; food. The sand shark was one of my favorite projects, being the first creature of mine to be borne from a sketch, rather than the other way around.
The Sandshark was created using the reference drawing above in conjunction with peter watje's surface tools, and existed for the longest time as a patch model untill recently, when I converted it to a mesh model so that the skin modifier would have better vertex weighting.
As you probably have noticed, this model was the template for the Sand and Sea Dragon models which are also included on this site. |
