S+ is a pico platform.
That it, a very, very small (smaller than a small language such as Lua, a platform such as Java, a machine such as a GameBoy) platform.
It is a work in progress.
I am using it mainly to test a few theories.
S+ is written in C++ and is compiled with DJGPP under Windows 98.
The console version (cv.exe) uses standard text I/O... however, the graphical version (v?.exe) uses some VESA BIOS extensions.
Right now there is sxx.zip, a zip file containing the binaries to both the console and graphical drivers for S+6.
SXX includes the S+6 virtual pico machine, the Sacas Plus, iteration 6 scripting language, the vm/3 graphics test program, and other related stuff.
Unfortunately, there is only scant documentation at present... which reflects the nature of the project, more to do than to talk about what I did or am doing.
When I get a little more satisfied that I have tested some more theories, I'll do a proper, well documented project... this is like a quick proof of... not even a whole concept, maybe a few percent of them.
Hey! You can also get a Video Mode Tester, vmt.zip, circa 108K, here. The VMT has better docs and is more fun than SXX... at least, I found it fun. The is now the second upload.
This is a work in progress, and is far from complete. As such, there is absolutely no warranty, use at your own risk.
Go home, if you want.
