Durwin Durwin was born to a moderately wealthy dwarf family. When he was about one year old he was taken from his parents by a sorcerer named Xabdra. Xabdra then raised the young dwarf as an apprentice, hoping that the dwarf would be as powerful a sorcerer as his grandfather. Needless to he was disappointed. Although Durwin could wield minor magic, he never became very powerful. When he was twenty the wizard disappeared mysteriously. Now, thirty years later, he works as a bounty hunter, but he still suspects to this day that the wizard abandoned him. His right eye was rendered useless in a battle with a huge cave troll.
