I quietly remove myself from the tree, crouch on the ground beside it find a pebble and lightly toss it at the "creature". And wait.

You watch cautiously as the strange creature looks around for you. You see him worriedly claw his way backwards, of all things, into a covering. You can tell that he is nervous of something, more than likely afraid. Afraid of what it can’t see, afraid of you especially. Quickly the creature tries in vain to hide himself behind a lilac bush. This is defiantly not the creature that was chasing you, you think to yourself…

Walker Boh:

I've been discovered! My heart jumps up into my throat. My head snaps to my right, looking for anything that moves. I get up off the dusty earth in a panic, and claw my way backwards to cover. Finding a lilac shrub I hide within it, leaving a distinct trail from where I tripped to where I am now hiding. I breath deeply trying to get my pounding heart under control while I still scanning the area

As you watch from behind you tree covering, you see a mysterious man slowly rise from a crouched position. He seems not to notice you as he walks towards the Lilac bush. Oh no, he leans against it. He must not see you at all. He seems somehow relaxed.

Etrof Jax:

I look around to find a hiding spot, and I unsheathe my short swords very slowly while explaining what is happening to Shadow.

The creature notices your movement, he is coming toward you. Faster and faster as he swoops down. He is almost upon you, there is nothing you can do, but wait with your weapons. Just before he reaches you, you notice that it isn’t the creature after all. It’s a man, with wings.
Shadow licks his lips at the thought of a tree squeek dinner…

Din:

Fly at the creature and attack it w/ katana and magic. Treesqueek Looks Around to see if he can see any one else near.

As you begin you decent you notice the creature is trying to hide behind a little tree, but you know you can go around that and attack him. Faster and faster you fly, almost blinded by your furry of defeating such a beast. You travel down, down, your almost upon him. Something peculiar catches your eye, but you don’t seem to notice. You are only thinking of the task at hand… Your coming in for the kill, when you notice that this isn’t the creature after all, this is a man, a strange man wearing dark clothes and a forest cloak.
The tree squeek seems to be having a fun time, running, looking for something. He looks up and notices a nice big panther licking his lips.

Faria Mea:

I throw a rock at his head, I help guild it and give it speed with my powers.

You watch as the man falls, just as you suspected. You know that when he gets back up he will be very very angry. He stands up, his palm seems to have a blue aura around it. The aura grows. He aims it in the direction of where the rock came from. Surprisingly, you think to your self, he has found where you once were.

Gyn:

Gyn, a little startled at the fact that the old man called him "little one" puts on a solemn face. "Old man, I don't know who you are. I don't know why you chased me out of my house, (for he deeply suspected that it was him) but whatever you need me to do, if it will help me understand why I ran from those beasts, why I left my comrades, then I am at your leisure. Just... tell me what's going on! Please." Gyn waits for a reply.

The old man speaks again, “Have patience, my young one. All things are reviled in time.” He suddenly goes quiet. You scan the landscape only to notice you can’t see anything further than 15 feet from the fire. The fire has taken your night vision away. You speak again to the old man, only in vain. He turns and speaks, “Welcome Gaitor

, This is Gyn.” He points to you. You turn to see who the visitors are. You see an elf with a woods man cloak and a trackers brow. Next to him stands a short human who seems innocent and young although you perceive him to be older. The old man speaks again, “I have much to tell all of you. But the time is not yet. Please warm yourselves by the fire,” he motions to the two strangers. You don’t know who you can trust. The old man, the elven woodsman, or the human youth. Who are they and what do they have to do with you, you wonder…

Sir John Strongwood:

I quickly jump up to my feet and swirl around, shrugging off the throbbing pain on the back of my head as my vision returns. I quickly bring up my right arm and hand to shoulder level, palm open, a slightly dim, blue light emanating from my palm, as I aim in the direction of the attacker. (if he/she/it is still there, and who is it?) if it is still there I fire.
My hand appears to glow a dim bright blue and than brightens for a spit second, and than SSCHGGDBOOM! and force of what appears to be a great wind ripples out from my hand hitting the place where the creature should be; my cloak is slightly blown back, and the once peaceful forest under-foliage appears to violently erupt due to the blowing force, blowing leaves and twigs in the direction of the attacker. the creature is violently thrown back about 10ft and hits a tree were (he/she/it) slides to the ground. As the dust settles, I quickly walk over to the creature, pointing the end of my staff at its throat, the end opens up and dim green glow emanates from the tip. I state in a loud deep voice, "who sent you!? and what do want?!"

You get up, and turn to face your attacker. Blinded by your rage you release your power. About halfway though you notice that you are attacking air. (Strange to be attacking air with air…) You quickly turn to your right and notice a spiteful young female looking your way. You notice her long, lustrous white/silver hair hanging loosely around her shoulders. You also notice a black lotus on her left eye. She smiles at you, then turns and heads off into the woods.

Telnan:

"I am Telnan" *sniff* "I know not where I go or where I am from, I wander. The creature?! You know of it?" starts to grin "yes I saw it. Now that you are here I have hope." wipes face with cloak "I was running away, and I am seeking help, can you help me?" *grin* "I will try my best to help you."

The forest man is silent for a moment, you think that he is testing your patience. He speaks, “What exactly are you seeking help from?” "Well, Telnon, you will come with me, for now, and I will keep you safe. No tricks, I warn you, for if you deceive or steal from me, I will be sure to make you pay dearly." He says this with a very grim face with his cloak hood still on. Then He pulls back his hood and smiles. "Come, let us find a place to rest." And with that, he will motion the boy to walk along side and just in front of him. He takes you to a secluded spot and begins to set up camp. He builds a small fire, not big enough to keep any real warmth, but small enough so that nobody will notice.

Gaitor:

Gaitor will silently come down from the tree, keeping one hand very close to his concealed knife, and approach the youth, hopefully being able to get within killing range before he is detected. The purpose of this tactic is if the boy is or does begin a transformation into a threat (i.e. the creature), Gaitor will strike while he is still in human form. Gaitor will attempt to communicate as long as the boy does not make any aggressive overtures or flee. He will inquire as to his name, origin, whether or not he SAW the creature (he won't ask if the kid is the creature), and what he is doing here at night and where he is going. Depending on the answers he receives, Gaitor will then judge what to do next. If he is attacked, Gaitor will go for the kill, employing Kiepi as a distraction and diversion to keep the kid off balance mentally. If the boy flees, Gaitor will give chase and subdue him. Primary tactics of this phase are communication and caution, primary weapon if needed will be his long knife.

The youth begins to speak. “I am Telnan" *snif* "I know not where I go or where I am from, I wander. The creature?! You know of it?" starts to grin "yes I saw it. Now that you are here I have hope." wipes face with cloak "I was running away, and I am seeking help, can you help me?" *grin* "I will try my best to help you.” Some how you feel an urge to help this young man. You don’t know why, but you can feel that what he says is the truth…
