Canada Snaps
Here are some snaps that I took, or were taken of me whilst I was in Canada. In no particular order...
- The Athabasca Glacier
- A small black bear beside some water. He was feeding on barnacles. Yummy!
- A Beluga Whale. Very cute. He was at the Stanley Park Aquarium.
- Berg Glacier. You've got to go up Mt Robson to see this one. Fantastic!
- Clearwater Valley. Just outside of Grays Park in B.C., I think.
- Group photo of we that braved the calm grey waters on Tofino. We saw grey whales, bald eagles and the small black bear on this one.
- Group photo from the West Coast tour I did on Vancouver Island.
- Helmcken Falls. It took about 1.5 hours to get to this point to take that shot. I got an even better shot that took me no time to take. I just had to punish myself with the hike for this one. Located in Grays Park in B.C.
- Killer whale in captivity. Location : Stanley Park Aquarium in Vancouver.
- Killer whale in the wild. Location : Off San Hose Island un U.S. waters.
- Curious little fellow trying to grab my garbage and have a bit of a rustle through my bag. He's a marmot. This was done at Mt Robson.
- Same marmot, this time doing a nice pose for the camera. Little bugger still wanted my rubbish.
- Me, lakeside. Cathy took this one of me. I didnt know about it until I got back to Australia.
- Me at Myra Falls. Der. Location: Vancouver Island.
- Me at Niagara. Taken by Cathy.
- Mt. Robson, B.C.
- Niagara
- Me, after walking the 23km back to the base of the Berg Trail at Mt Robson.
- The Mt. Robson glacier
- Standing stone formations created by people that actually manage to walk up this far. Take the Toboggan Falls trail at the top of the Berg Lake Trail and head for "The Cave".
- Closeup squirrell in Stanley Park, Vancouver.
- This stag did this pose soon after the marmor left the campsite at Mt Robson.
- These standing stones can be found all around Stanley Park and English Bay in Vancouver.
- Squirrell. The only photo not taken by me or anyone I saw. But that would be cool to see for real.
