Cheats for Bart Simpson Vs. The Space Mutants
This is an old NES game, which came out in 1991. At first it seems pretty basic but after a few hours of playing, I became addicted to it. It is very challenging and none of the cheat books had any information on it. I found a few cheats on the net but not very many. There is another version of it on a newer system but none of the cheats for it work on this one. I decided to give out some tips right here on my page. I have only made it through the first level but that took a lot of time. Here we go:
Start near a garbage can and dodge the nuclear bug. If you stand right beside the can he can't get you. Wait until he is on one side and jump up on the can and try to reach the clown face on the wall to your right for an extra life. Takes a bit of trying and use the A key to get more lift.
When you pass a guy, click on the start button and the screen will turn yellow allowing you to see if the guy has tentacles on his head. If he does, jump on his head and you will get a coin and letter on the left side of the lower screen. (Still don't know what that does.) If he doesn't have tentacles, you will lose half a life.
Go past the nest obstacle and get the paint can up on the window ledge. Head back left and just past the first of three jumping guys, turn facing right and jump and spray at the same time, spray being on B. The movie poster will change to red from purple. Continue left and paint the garbage can red with the paint. Go all the way right again to the phone booth. Click on the select button until you see COIN then jump up on the phone booth seat and press START. The phone will ring and a dialogue will come up with some funny stuff with the bar owner. He gets pissed off and comes out of the bar. Spray his purple shirt with paint and then jump to miss him.
Go back up on the telephone stool and then jump on the booth and onto the wires. Walk on the wires knocking the rugs onto the purple things below.
Head right and jump over the little jumping guys. Just jump before the first one, don't move right. A coin will pop out and land on you. Then jump over the first and second but wait for another coin before you jump over the third one. Then you have to spray the hydrant. Then go into the tool store and buy a wrench and a key. Go back out and stand close to the hydrant, choose the wrench and the hydrant will open and wash off the purple shade. Jump up on the wndow ledge and then onto the shade. Jump and spray at the same time to paint the plants, they all work the same way. When you see the red ball on the sidewalk, you can jump on it and sometimes it knocks over the paint can to color the awning. If it doesn't get up onto the ledge and walk by it, it will spill.
Paint all the plant pots and the other garbage can. Jump on it to get up to the window ledge, it gives you extra bounce. All of the obstacles have a pattern and you can gauge their pattern, then move accordingly. Go into the novelty store and buy a cherry bomb and a couple of rockets. Go into the toy store and buy the whistle and the magnet. (the magnet isn't important unti the third level as I understand it.) Get up on the pet store ledge and let loose a cherry bomb. The parrot will fly away.
