Silicon Puszta

Hungary has played a great role in the past of Computer Science.
The architecture of modern computers comes from  János Neumann (John von Neuman Budapest 1903 - Washington 1957).
The first modern word-processing program Bravo was developed by Károly Simonyi who works know for Microsoft. Word was based on Bravo. He was also the project manager of the Excel project and launched the so called Hungarian notation for the C language.
Andy Grove the cofounder of Intel has also hungarian origins.
With a lot of good and cheap programmers Hungary might become Europe's software center and also play a big role in the futur of Computer Science.
That's why some people started talking about a "Silicon Puszta" :
Robert Manz "Silicon Valley on the Danube?" The Budapest Sun 15-21 February 1996, Richard Eames "Is Hungary developing a Silicon Puszta?" Budapest Business Journal.
