1 tablespoon of vegatable oil
1 teaspoon of vanilla, (just for smell, if you like)
About 15 drops of your favorite food color

1. Cook all ingrediants in 1 1/2 quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring really hard, about 4 minutes or until the mixture forms a ball.
2. Remove from the saucepan and let stand 5 minutes.
3. Kneead dough about 30 seconds or until smooth and blended.
4. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
PAPIER-MACHE

2 cups of cold water
1 1/2 to 1 3/4 cups of all purpose flour
Newspaper, cut into strips that measure about 1 x 15 inches

1. Mix water and flour in large bowl with wire whisk until smooth.
2. Coat a mold* with one layer newspaper strips which have been dipped in water. Then dip strips in flour mixture and lay over first layer of strips until mold is well coated. (It will take a few layers)
3. Let stand until strips are dry and hard. Paint over the strips if desired.

* Inflated ballons, bowls, molded clay or other similar materials make good molds.

TO MAKE A PINATA FROM PAPIER-MACHE

Mold strips around a ballon. When it is all dried, square about 2" x 2" (do not throw away) and fill with candy or small toys or both. Replace the piece you cut out and layer more strips on top in order to secure it. Paint your Pinata, with bright colors, attach a string for hanging and let the fun begin!

FINGER PAINT

1/3 cup of cornstarch
3 tablespoons of sugar
2 cups of cold water
Food coloring

1. Mix corndtarch, sugar and water in 1 quart saucepan.
2. Cook and stir over medium heat about 5 minutes or until thickened;
remove from heat.
3. Divide the mixture into separate paper cups. Tint each mixture with a different food color. Stir until cool.
4. Store in an airtight container. This paint works best if used the same day.
