MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module Msoe.dll at...

 Reasons this could happen
  • *.dbx files are read only
  • folder is corrupted (inbox.dbx, outbox.dbx..etc)

First thing to do, CLOSE Outlook Express

What to do (Read Only)

  1. Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files or Folders.
  2. In the Named box, type *.dbx, in the Look in box, click Local hard drives (C:), and then click Find Now.
  3. For each *.dbx file that is found, right-click the file, click Properties, and then clear the Read-only check box.
  4. Click Apply, and then click Close.
  5. Restart MSOE

What to do (Folder Corrupted)

  1. Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files or Folders.
  2. In the Named box, type <folder name>.dbx, in the Look in box, click Local hard drives (C:), and then click Find Now. (Note: Replace <folder name> with the folder you were clicking on when the error started, most times it is inbox or outbox)
  3. For the dbx file that is found, right-click the file, click Rename, and then rename the file with the extension of .old (e.g. inbox.dbx.old)
  4. Restart MSOE
