Finding those Cab files!

• Cab file is a file that contains files in a compact form.

How to find the Cab files

1. Start, Find, Files or Folders
2. type win*.cab
3. Click on the [v] in Look In: and make it say My Computer, Ensure it has a check mark in Include subfolders
4. Click on Find Now
5. if you find some, Great! if not, better look for that Windows CD! (Restore Disks work, but might not be the correct version that is on your computer, your call)
6. Record the PATH (in folder) for the files, because you might need it.
   You can't see the whole path? well click the line between In Folder and Size your mouse will look like a + (kind of) with two arrows pointing left/right if you see that then click TWO times (or Double-Click) and it will Expand it so you can see All of the path if you look at the picture below, it will show you where your mouse needs to be! (blue arrows!)
