I sit and stare
I think in doubt
I wonder what
It's all about

Sometimes I wish
That I could run
And hide away
Leave you as one

To clear my head
To clear the air
To wipe my frown
From everywhere

I bring you down
I make you sad
To leave for now
To make you glad

When my mind's clear
My mood more light
I would return
We'd smile, delight

But just for now
When I'm depressed
I'll leave alone
