Empty

The sadness fills me up
Like a growing pool of emptiness
It devours me from the inside
Leaving nothing behind but an empty shell

Tears well and flow
Until there are no more to be cried
All feelings evaporate from inside me
Leaving me hollow and dry

I seek emotion
I search for comfort or pain
In my solitude, my cold dark loneliness
I can't see the lack of things around me

I am alone
I am lonely
I sit in the cold dark and feel nothing
I am empty
