Castle in the Clouds: Part 2

I built a castle in the clouds
Which no one else could know,
So good were its defensive walls
Outside I couldn't go,
But then one day I heard a sound,
The walls began to shake,
A gaping rift had opened up,
The sun shone through the break,
And with the rays of blinding light
In memory only kept,
Into my castle in the clouds
A single figure stepped,
She pulled apart my solitude
And shook awake once more
Many things inside that slept
Since being locked indoors,
She showed me love and showed me care,
Reminded me to live,
But how to step out in the light
That help she couldn't give.
So in my castle in the clouds
I'll dwell a whle yet,
But what she brought and gave to me
I will never forget.
