Files

I have collected a seemingly vast number of files on my machine at home.

This is cause I'm such an unorganised person, and I have a decent internet connection at work (we need 10Mbps though).

Just for those of you who don't know what a file is, a file is a sort of papery (or plasticy - although I have yet to see metal ones, they may exist), which papery stuff in it (or other things, paper clips, rubber bands etc.)

I used to arrange these hard-files, but that's another story.

I now have moved up a bit in the world, to moving soft-files (well - I did say a bit).

What's a soft file, I hear you ask (not really - but it sounds good - most people will probably have given up by now!)

It's basically a single object on some form of storage device whether it be hard-disc, floppy disk or whatever, consisting of linked clusters (which are like storage units on the disk) - if this is wrong (which it sort of is - I over simplified it cause it's almost lunch time)

Anyway enough of that stuff.

I have lots of these files, in many partitions in many disks (I currently have three 100Mb IDE drives, all full of stuff, and all with a bonafide virus on them)

I have more disks than computers (which is alarming, cause they tend to slide of the shelf with monotonous regularity!)

Enough on files!

Back to the front bit!
