Importing QTVR movies into Director

Introduction

This tutorial uses Director 7 (Director 6.5+ works in the same way).
QuickTime 3.0 and the QuickTime 3 Asset Xtras must be also correctly
installed. In addition, if you are running this tutorial on a PC - the QTVR
movie you use must have been "flattened"

What does flattened mean?
Flattened is the term used to describe QuickTime movies that have had their data and resource forks combined. This step is essential if the QuickTime movie is to be used on the WWW or on a PC

QuickTime movies produced on the Macintosh are not always flattened.

QuickTime Movie Player Pro is capable of producing flattened QTVR movies through it's export option (check playable on non Apple computers)
