Power Line Communcation is one way of communication in which speech and data communication can be done in a more efficient way uisng the Power Line itself, it makes life more easier when comes to Internet connectivity in a particular region.

                      The main draw back of Power Line communication is the lack of Bandwidth and the electrical noise disturbances ( Such as Surges etc., )

                     In dealing with the PLC, one can use the low bandwith for the data communcation for the switches, to make it on/off.
