Magic Info V6 is a Knowledge Management KM system that was originally developed as a documentation system for software developers. Since it's conception, it has evolved to much more than that.

Concept
The user interface was designed around the well-known Microsoft Windows Explorer. We replaced the folders and files with books and pages.

Features

• Text Documentation
  As mentioned above, the system represents books and pages. These pages can be filled with formatted text. A page can also have sub pages and then becomes a book.
  
  
• External Links
  The need arose to link existing documentation files to the system. This feature gives the user the facility to add existing documentation files to the system without re typing or copying the text. It also made it possible to add non-text data to the system e.g. charts or graphic files.
  Other types of links were also added like See Also, SQL and Internet links.
  
  
• Contacts
  This is your usual contact numbers and address
  
  
• Diary
  Here you can store appointments and other reminders that occur on a regular basis e.g. Weekly, Monthly, The first of every month or on a cetain day of the week.
  
  
• eMail
  Check your email without opening an additional email package.
  
  
• Share Prices
  This enables you to download share prices from the JSE on a daily basis end plot some graphs.
