Dan & Carol Reply: Amanda has a vast collection of midi files and computer art on her web site. Much of the computer art is credited to other artists, but Amanda displays some of her own creations and they are very good! She also offers several awards in different categories. It's all very well done and Amanda is just 14 years old. Thank you Amanda for giving us our first award from a very talented teenager!

Dan & Carol Reply: Jose is originally from Puerto Rico and is now living in New York City where he teaches mathematics to young people who are trying to achieve their high school diploma in a drug rehabilitation program. We have a deep respect for what Jose is trying to accomplish. His web site has some very useful links which include HTML help in spanish. Jose also has an IRC for WebTV in both english and spanish. We were both surprised and delighted to receive 2 awards form Jose and we thank him very much!

Dan & Carol Reply: Ron has a very cool site. You will know what we mean the instant that you see his first page, which is Nad's Bar, complete with a devilish bartender and drinks on the bar, and you will even be greeted by the voice of Ron himself. The "bar" is also a navigation bar which will transport you (without the need of a designated driver) to the remainder of Ron's interesting pages. There are also some extra bonuses in store for those who have access to a PC with a Java enabled browser. Thanks to you, Ron, for the impressive award, the very entertaining web site that you have created (due to curbing the chatting a bit), and being the second web site from Australia to recognize our efforts. Oh, and by the way, thanks to Australia for sending us AC/DC!

Dan & Carol Reply: I (Dan) received V's "HTML HELP AWARD" back in February of this year and we do visit her site from time to time to keep up with any new additions. So, when we noticed that V was offering her "Purple Star Award", we just had to apply for it. Luckily, she felt that our site was deserving of her award. Thanks again, V, you are a wonderful lady!

She is originally from our neighboring state of Kentucky which is quite apparent by the many links and references on her site to her "old Kentucky home". Dan & Carol Reply: dlb99 Internet Solutions is basically in the business of hosting and designing web sites. In addition, they also offer 4 different awards (Bronze, Silver, Gold, & Platinum) that are judged according to 10 categories and each category is rated on a point scale of 0-10. When all of the points are added together, the total score is used to determine which award, if any, the site will receive. The Gold Award requires 61-80 points! To the best of our knowledge, these are the strictest measures that our site has ever been judged by. Many thanks go out to dlb99's judges for their prestigious award!

Dan & Carol Reply: This award is very special to both of us and especially Carol because on the morning that we received it, we also were telephoned with the news that Carol's brother, Larry, had passed away. Carol had tears in her eyes when she saw the beautiful blue rose that is so magnificently displayed on this award. Dan & Carol Reply: Nancy's Place In Minnesota is a superb wildlife site. She has some outstanding pictures of wolves and eagles and excellent commentary as well. She has really done a fine job of describing her home state of Minnesota with a little Minnesota humor thrown in too. Being the pet lovers that we are, we really enjoyed the pictures and descriptions of Nancy's dogs which are on their own page. Nancy has also admitted her addiction to WebTV, and we'll probably all get together real soon for therapy. Thank you, Nancy, you have a mighty fine web site and we love your award.

Dan & Carol Reply: We have received awards mostly in recognition of our site as a whole, but a few are targeted toward a specific topic such as our midi files. We thought it was about time to see if there were any car related sites that felt that our Z car pages were worthy. As you can see, there most certainly are. We really do love our Datsun 280ZX and the entire series of Z cars and, if we could, we would proudly display this award on the dash.
