evenly matched throughout the league.
There weren’t has many easy victories down the stretch. Many teams got hot at the end of the year
leaving the race for 2-8 up for grabs.
For example, No Mercy was in last place in week 8 but by week 14 moved
into third place with a big victory over then third place Pigskin
Princess.
Mighty
Warriors started off the season with two losses in a row and was in last
place. It didn’t take the franchise
long to get out of the cellar. By week 4, Mighty Warriors were in first place
and never looked back. Big Sexy hung
around all year in second place. There
was a big match up between Big Sexy and Mighty Warriors in week 13.
Big Sexy came out on top and cut the power point lead down to 10, 115 to
105. Week 14 Big Sexy lost to Doomsday
II and now trailed by 13 power points. Mighty
Warriors struggle a little at the end of the year but clinched their first HFFL
Championship in week 16 with a win over The Columbus Knights.
The
Mighty Warriors were led by Ahman Green (340.0), Torry Holt (242.1), Peyton
Manning (222.6), and Stephen Davis (205.3). Big Sexy was led by Deuce McAllister (259.7), Edgerrin James (217.9)
and Matt Hasselbeck (214.9).
