Q:What is Voice/Sound activated
recording?
Purpose : To eliminate
silence from recording and reduce the
size/time of the recorded file.
Problem : There is huge
difference between pratical silence and
ideal silence called Noise.It can be
either Background Noise, White Noise or
other kinds of sound sources.
Solution : Defined
variable threshold decides when to start
and stop recording. A value near to zero
is nearer to ideal silence , a high value
is a loud/high sound level for
activation.
