Deva-raja Virupaksha (Wide-Eye Deva King) is the Guardian of the Western Direction and lord of the nagas (dragons/serpents).  His kingdom is located on the west side of Mount Sumeru.  In the Buddhist scripture, he is known for being well-versed in all of mankind's different national languages.
