The Great White Shark (carcharadon carcharias) is definately one of the most fearsome predators ever to roam the face of this earth. Growing to lengths up to 23 ft., and reaching cruising speeds of up to 30 mph. The Great White rarely attacks humans, and its diet consists of seals, fish, rays, and other sharks. The top of the Great White is a dark gray, and its under side is white. This coloration blends in quite nicely with the ocean, making the shark nearly invisible from the top or the bottom.
