The College conducts various types of training programmes which can be classified into four broad categories.
1. Functional Programmes
Functional Programmes relating to various themes of agricultural and rural development help in facilitating various functions of the bank. In the case of international participants, they are suitably modified by taking the interests/needs of the participants into account. The broad themes of courses are as follows :

2. Human Resource Development Programme/Management Development Programmes
These programmes are designed separately for junior, middle and senior level executives to improve their interpersonal effectiveness and management skills (in their day to day functioning) by way of experiential learning which takes into account both cognitive affective development of the participants. These programmes are also conducted for international participants. The programmes cover such areas as :
Understanding self and Interpersonal Relationship.
Group dynamics and Team Building.
Communication, Motivation and Leadership.
Counseling and Performance Management.
Managing change and Conflict and Managing Stress/Time.
Role Empowerment.
Value Clarification, etc.
3. Skill Development Programmes
These cover skill upgradation in computers, right from elementary level to advanced areas, mostly for use in the bank's day-to-day working;
4. General Programmes
Under general programmes, the College conducts Induction programmes for its new officers.
