DayDreams
written by: B.C.I
Rolling with the songs of time,
Brings new adventures to the soul.
Treasures aging like fine wine,
Begins to make the dreams whole.
The fresh scent of new flowers,
Fills the air as you travel the trail.
Creatively making use of the hours,
As you await your journey to sail.
The horizon drifts close at dawn,
Sea air now fills your senses with fresh feeling.
Dreaming of the days long gone,
Gazing at the sky-blue ceiling.
Landing on the familiar shore,
And entering your city of birth.
Gladness filling you to the core,
To see your house is still upon the earth.
Sleepy eyelids begins to rise,
Your body waking up evermore.
Laying awake you begin to realize,
Your dreams are ones never dreamed before.
