the spectacular performances
of The Phantom of the Opera.

idea for the Phantom play originated
from the Paris Opera house (as
seen below)
The Opera
house was said to be haunted
by a
previous cast member, who was outcasted
by the
other preformers. After a fatal
accident
in which one half of the performers
face
was burnt by acid; hence the mask. After
being
humiliated by his former "friends"
most
thought he had left the Opera house
for
good. The performer could not bear
the
thought of leaving the thing he loved most
so he
retreated to the basement, to listen,
learn
from and love his Opera house like it
had
once cared for him.
