About the CAJUN Power Supply What is the CAJUN Power Supply ? First what is a CAJUN ? It is a Car Audio Jukebox UNder unix (Linux) thanks to Paul B for creating and documenting this project. It allows you to play MP3 audio files in your car. Like the Rio but hold ALOT more songs. Hundered or even thousands of songs depending on hard disk size. Now the CAJUN Power Supply is a DC to DC power regulator / supply that produces the power needed to run a PC motherboard and disk drives directly off the car battery. No inverter or standard PC power supply is needed. This board also has a special shut down circuit to power down Linux safely. This supply could also be used on other car audio MP3 designs but why bother when you can make a CAJUN ! Also thanks to Ian B. for the concept of the power down system and J.D.F. for the concept to connect the power down to radio power.
