Here is an update history (latest updates first in list).
At the end of this page is a summary of who is on my Best Freeware mailing list.

January 99 update

New Programs:

Checklist: Extended "To Do List" that gives you an extra layer of sophistication to use.
BS Bingo: Keep awake in meetings by tracking the the use of certain words.
IMR Snake: Another old favourite, steer the growing snake around the screen.

New Versions:

CSpotRun: Now with auto scrolling.

Added tips on shortcuts for symbols, for example ½ and ¼

November 99 update

New Programs:

Kniffel: Replaces FiveAlike as a better Yahtzee clone - up to 4 people can play

Added a specialist software section:

Days Off: Insert your selection of US, UK or European holidays into your Datebook.
Electronics: Handy Capacitor, Resistor, Transistor and cable reference.
Genealogy: Allows you to file your research information on your machine.
LeftHack: Moves to the left most scroll bars & some Up/Down buttons, for left handers.
WhatzUp: Displays Datebook entries and dated ToDo list entries all on one screen.

October 99 update Find links added for programs.

SquareTris: Yet another line elimination logic game.
Traffic: Excellently absorbing logic game: release a car from a traffic jam
Listdb for Windows: allows PC editing of List database files.

May 99 update

Doc In Out: Add on for MakeDocW
GameTime: A timer designed specifically for Games.
Mulg: A brilliant new type of game - roll a marble around a maze.
SuperDuper: Duplicate an address, email or Memo.
UnDupe: Rid yourself of large numbers of duplicate Date, Address, Memo or To Do entries.
Vexed: HMaki variant, masses of levels.
