G o o d   M o r n i n g ,   G o d !

Thank you for the night's rest and for this new
Day. Will you accompany me as I go on my way
Thinking through my mind, speaking through my
Lips, living in my heart, and guiding my feet in
The paths You wish me to follow?

Bless me with robust health, and the physical
Strength to carry my share of the world's load.
Give me a clear knowledge of the right, and the
Courage to stand steadfastly by my convictions.
Make my will strong, but let my voice and my
Touch be gentle, Teach me to be patient, and to
Be kind.

Grant me the wisdom to guide only to their
Greatest good those to whom I offer counsel or
Care. Make me so scrupulously honest that the
Slightest trust will not be misplaced if placed in
Me.

keep me attuned to your presence in me. Allow
Me, in my life and work, to so reflect the Light
Of your Divine Radiance that all whose lives are
Touched by mine may be enriched by it.

Thank you God, for endowing me with the talents,
The skills, and the opportunities to earn everything
I need, plus something to share with those less
Fortunate than I.

O u r   D a i l y   P r a y e r

Dear GOD, as I begin this day, let me turn my
thoughts to you, and ask your help in guiding me,
in everything I say and do,

Give me the patience that I need, to keep my
peace of mind; And with life's care, I hope dear
God, same happiness to find,

Let me live but for today, not worrying what's
ahead; For I have trust that you will see, I get my
daily bread.

Give me courage to face life's trials, and not from
troubles run; Let me keep this thought in mind,
Thy will, not mine, be done;

And if some wish, I do not get though I have
prayed to Thee; Help me to believe and
understand, You know what's best for me.

I've failed you many times, I know but when
tonight I rest; I hope that I can kneel and say,
Dear God, I've tried my best.

P r a y e r   t o   t h e    H o l y   S p i r i t

Come, Holy Spirit, fill my heart with Your
Holy gifts. Let my weakness be penetrated
With your strength this very day that I may
Fulfill all the duties of my state conscientiously
That I may do what is right and just. Let my
Charity be such as to offend no one and hurt
No one's feelings; so generous as to pardon
Sincerely any wrong done to me. Assist me
O Holy Spirit, in all trials of life, enlighten
Me in my ignorance, advice me in my doubts
Strengthen me in my weakness, help me in all
Need and embarrassment, protect me in temptation
and console me in afflictions. Graciously hear
me, O Holy Spirit and pour your light into my
heart, my soul and my mind. Assist me to live
a holy life and in goodness and grace. Amen

Come Holy Spirit: with your light - with your
grace - with your strength - with your consolation -
with your charity, that I may be made worthy to
live a life of holy love..... Amen

Lord Jesus, as I enter this work place,
I bring your presence with me
I speak Your peace, Your Grace and Your
Perfect Order into the atmosphere of this office.
I acknowledge your Lordship over all
that will be spoken, thought and decided,
and accomplished within these walls.

Lord Jesus, I thank you for the gifts
you have deposited in me.
I do not take them lightly, but commit
to using them responsibly and will.
Give me a fresh supply of truth and beauty
on which to draw as I do my job.
Anoint my creativity, my ideas and my
energy so that even my smallest
task may bring You honor.

Lord, when I am confused, guide me
When I am weary, energize me.
Lord, when I am burned out, infuse me
with the Light of your Holy Spirit.
May the work that I do and the way
that I do it, bring hope, life and courage
to all that I come in contact with today.
And, oh Lord, even in this day's most stressful
moments... may I rest in You.
