Feel the Wind

Can you feel it? Can you understand that whoosh as you fly down the hill?  No cops, speeding is legal, just watch out for the other people.  If you're lucky, it's an empty day....the sun glares off the snow, and in the corner of your eye, you catch the glint of a beam of light off the ice on your goggles, and you get on the steel chair, carried by a steel cable, to the top of the mountain.  You're on top of the world, and then you look down....you see nothing more than a steep slope covered in white powder, and you think you're crazy.  But then you realize, you're only crazy if you stay on top; it's the trip down that's the fun part, and you wouldn't miss it for the world.

You have to ask yourself, really, what's better than flyin down a hill at break-neck speeds on nothing more than two, thin, flat pieces of metal, and if you're smart, you realize that there is nothin better.  This is life.  Skiing is one of the best ways to keep in shape and have fun.  And if you're not having fun while skiing, you're probably dead.  For me, skiing is life.  Without skiing, there really isn't much to go on.  Besides, can you think of any other way to go 50mph + without a machine? I didn't think so.
