I did not think this up in the first place. I played with the lesson to make the words I wanted as should you. > I would also suggest that those of you who also document what you do to make a really kewl graphic to also make yourself a lesson. > I tried to do that this term. If you come up with something great maybe we can each keep sharing between terms. > It is a nice way to organize and a place to post what you do with it and if you are like me > if I don't have everything in one place or I lose it. > Well, I still lose things but..... I save copy as and use that one as the finished product for the original then... eagle..how did you get such a neat edge on your solarized one? z-juliaanna bookmark eagle's site and then you can play around with it. :) > I go back to where I was working and in this case took myself back to the step I wanted to play with > that way I dont lose the original I wanted to keep > here is the site again and saving as a .psp extention helps too > http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Campus/7257/SatinLessonMe.html yes.. I always save copy as psp then continue on to play :) > Yes I also do that Save as PSP until I am finished totally > the place where I learned that has weekly tuts and a great site of other tutorials u need to be sure that the text layer is active before solarize... Hmm you said let it merge, so no layers left ok.. undo so that you have layers again > undo to merge you have to merge to make gif... but haev to be in layers to work with most changes... yeah, but I went ahead with the gif like it said, so I'd have to start over to get layers again that is why is good idea to save copy as instead of save... If you just save or save as, then your orginal image is flatened > yup that's it exactly. Just undo back to the merge step in your undo history no... if you saved copy, then your orginal layers are back a coupld of undos just following directions as posted > did you save as? or save copy as? If you saved copy as your original is filed away > and what is opened is your working image ok got my laters back ty > as you can see the placement of the last ext step will change the placement of the lines in the text > and you can change the colors in the repeat I just played > I used hue 125 but as long as you use 2 contrasting colors it will work with lots of combinations i got purple by eagle's numbers in colorize > It really looks wierd changing the lighter to a darker and visa versa > and it also buttonizes nicely too yup.. if it was checked your text would be pure black so I *know* you're "unchecked" in that step fabric so when i want to colorize to taste...i can't > click on colors in the word bar? you cant do that? > http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Campus/7257/pspWk6.html
