I am 21 years old, I live in New Zealand and am a student at the University of Waikato. I'm currently taking a Bachelor of Computing and Mathematical Sciences. I first learned to program in apple basic with the help of a friend and basic manual, I then switched to qbasic when we got a 386 (and moved countries). At the begining of high school I dicided to learn c++ without any help I had to teach myself. About half through high school my family moved from the South Island to the North Island and I got on the Internet (replaced the 386 motherboard and stuff with a 486) for the first time. A new friend I made in Hamilton gave me a copy of DJGPP which was so much better than Turbo C++. This started me writing games for the first time, but when I found Allegro this became alot easier. In my second year of university I got a pentium 133, so now I can use True color in my games.
