CHAPTER ONE
It all started on Sunday, Harriet let Sofia, her cat in.
Sofia ate,
played, and slept.
Harriet's dad thought it was a good idea, so they all went to bed.
In the morning Harriet's dad went into his home home office.
When he came out he was red and sputtering.
He said, "I have
terrible news for you, our family's prized felt picture is missing!
Harriet sighed,"I don't mind solving mysteries or you getting up early,
as long as you don't wake me up!" Come on hairy Harriet! You're the
detective in this family,you wanted to be it and now you've got it.
Solve this case'said her brother Henry.
CHAPTER TWO
Harriet 's mom cooked some pancakes for breakfast with surup and butter.
Harriet ate very quickly because she didn't want to spend her whole day
( espesily the last weekend day before another day of school.
) solving
this case.
After she was done with her breakfast she went to her room to
get her personlized detective bag with her things to solve a case.
Then
she went to her dad's office and took out her maglafing glass and
searched for clues.
Harriet knew there had to be some kind of footprints
on the floor because there was nothing to jump or clime on, so who ever
it was had to walk.
Just as she thought there where footprints there.
CHAPTER THREE
The footprints were very small.
They looked like an animals footprint.
Then she remembered present that her Great Aunt had given to her when
she was 6.
It was called Animals in the Wild.
It had all kinds of
footprints! Harriet thought "Perfect"
My very first one,
first of a series of bedtime stories for
my son.
More or less done
All of them.
