CDMA system analysis:
File size 4.67 MB. This FREE paper presents the Code
Division Multiple Access (CDMA) technology in a comparative study. Both the
DSSS and FHSS are compared from performance point of view such as security
coding, noise immunity, interference, and channel coding. This paper introduces
the nature of correlation between performance of the system, in terms of
Capacity and Outage and Bit Error Rate (BER), Signal to Noise Ratio (Eb/No), the size of systems symbol set, number of users M,

Filter
Design Software: I designed this easy-to-use user interface to design Second or Third order Low Pass Filter (LPF) with the ability
to change and adopt new component values on the fly. I used it to come up with
various filter designs for my projects. Try this design tool, you will like it.

distribute or use this application for free at any time.
Filter Order Calculator: I
designed this calculator to easily find out the Order N of the LPF filter you
are designing. This is based on the fact that higher order LPF filters have
steeper response (or more dB per Decades), or the closer the -3 dB cutoff
frequency and the frequency of the desired attenuation together the steeper the
response of the filter. Can't fool it with entering wrong frequency values
though! Also remember that the radial frequency w or frequency f can be entered
but not both, they also can be scaled up or down at the same time only. Don't
waste your time using graphs or equations, use this
calculator for easy and fast results. Also remember that my calculator can
handle filters that may not have design graphs in your textbook, and will give
you the worst case N order value. Ok, ok, you don't have to pay me. Just use it

Computer
Control: Here is another computer user
interface I designed that enables you to control anything from your computer
with the serial port RS232. The RS232 serial port uses the DB9 connector on the
back of your computer, you need that otherwise the program will not work. You
may construct a cable with DB9 connector on one side and RJ11 connector on the
other side for easy interface to your embedded designs. I am including the
basic functionality in this application while this is still useful. To run this
program (PCcontrol.exe) properly please download
these two files (MSINET.OCX and MSCOMM32.OCX) and save them in the same folder of the main application (PCcontrol.exe).
For example you may go to your C drive, create new folder called "RFhandbook", then save all of the three files
mentioned above in that folder. You may run PCcontrol.exe afterwards by
double clicking on it. I used this Interface to control my home appliances
wirelessly from my computer, so I designed an embedded wireless transmitter and
connected it to my computers serial port, and connected different addressable
receivers to different home appliances to be controlled from my computer. Neat
control project and lots of fun. If you need added functionality or different
versions then email me and I will be happy to further discus your needs and
help you.
Remote Control: This is an advanced version of the Computer Control
application program I designed and used in many of my projects. It is a program
that allows you to control various devices from your computer. The reason it is
different is because it allows you to configure the controls in terms of their
numbers, names, and data to send. I used it with the Motorola 68HC micro
controller, the Microchip PIC chip, and the Basic Stamp from Parallax.com. You
basically build your micro controller and assign various data to various
actions within your micro controller. For example if the micro controller
receives data value 10 the motor turns CCW, if data received is 12 then the
motor turns CW and so on. Use the serial port RS232 COMM1 to run it. See also
the help menu from the application for more details. I am giving this software
free of license and charge for you to try and enjoy. Feel free to distribute it
to any one you like. You may need to download MSINET.OCX and MSCOMM32.OCX to run along my Remote Control software. Insure to place
all the 3 downloads in one folder and run from that folder. You may create a
shortcut into your desktop for easy access. Let me know if you need similar
