Hexidecimal Color Chart


The color chart below was provided by Doug Jacobson at http://www.flash.net/~drj2142 . They represent 256 colors common to a Windows pallet. As Doug explains:
These color charts contain an approximation (the numbers are exact; the colors as close as technology can get them) of a color palette that will not dither when viewed on the web. The center 6 columns contain the 216 non-dithering colors; the outer two columns (pure shades of red, green, blue and black) are for reference.

Dithering is a shift in color or fuzzing that often occurs with some color codes. Sometimes what you see is not what you get.
