The Emerald K is a beautiful 120 foot luxury motor yacht, built by Feadship and owned by Dick and Diane Scruggs.
It recently underwent a six month refit and upgrade in l999. It is powered by two 6l0 horsepower Caterpillar
diesel engines giving a top speed of l4.6 knots and a cruising speed of l2.5 knots. The yacht has four
staterooms capable of accommodating eight guests in comfortable and elegant surroundings as well as the
latest in technological, navigational, and communication equipment. It carries two tenders and a crew of seven.

Our Recent or Upcoming Activites:
08/99 We are now in the South Pacific, having passed through the Panama Canal last weekend. We are making 13 knots per hour and are
approx. 2000 miles from Tahiti. We will be dropped off there by the Super Servant 3 (the transport ship we got on in Fort Lauderdale,
with 22 other boats of varying size), after which we will motor on to New Zealand.
09/99 Boat is in Tahiti for two more weeks after which it will be New Zealand bound.
