Don Hutchison, Chairman and CEO
Hutchison is Chairman, CEO and founder of Work.com, the definitive online network for business professionals. He established Work.com while senior vice president and general manager of @Work, Excite@Home’s commercial division.

In February of 1997, Hutchison joined @Home as senior vice president and subsequently grew @Work's access business from two accounts to over 5,000. During his tenure, he built @Work to a reported $2.5 billion valuation and was involved in creating Excite@Home’s next-generation broadband network. He also directed @Home's operating relationships with, and strategic investments in, promising business-focused Internet firms, including early stage investments in Exodus and Northpoint Communications.

Prior to joining @Home, Hutchison was the Senior Vice President who built Netcom into one of the Internet's leaders. Between 1994 and 1996 he grew revenues from $2 to $120 million; individual subscribers to over 500,000; and business accounts to over 3,000. Hutchison raised Netcom to prominence as the (then) dominant ISP for individuals and the first pure play Internet IPO. Recognition included The American Marketing Association's 1994 "Marketing Achievement" award for Best New Product Launch and 1995 and 1996 "World Class" awards from PC World as the nation's Best Internet Services Provider.

Hutchison spent his early career with leading technology companies, including Data General and Prime Computer, in sales and human resources management. His entrepreneurial path began at Pixar, where he headed sales, marketing and customer service operations. After growing revenue fourfold, his work in digital image computing led him to TAU Corporation for which he created a new and successful commercial division focusing on digital video data reduction.

Hutchison serves on the corporate or advisory boards of several leading Internet companies including Critical Path, Evoke, Zengine, Zupit, and others. His industry observations are often recognized in print, by numerous publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Forrester Reports and USA Today.

In addition to founding Work.com, Hutchison is also founder of NationalTeacher.org, a non-profit corporation formed to accelerate K-12 teacher’s knowledge and use of the Internet and other technologies to improve teaching and student performance.

Hutchison is an honors graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He earned an MBA in Finance and Organizational Development from Loyola Marymount University.

Tom Baker, Chief Market Analyst
Tom Baker brings over 17 years of business publishing experience to his new role as chief market analyst for Work.com. Baker is responsible for assessing the competitive landscape and developing business strategies. Previously, Baker was vice president of product strategy and development for Dow Jones Interactive Publishing. He was one of the founders of the Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition and supervised all its marketing efforts, advertising sales and business alliances. In addition, Baker also held a variety of positions in circulation marketing, research, and product development for the print editions of The Wall Street Journal and Barron's.

Craig Clemens, Senior Vice President, Engineering & Operations
Craig Clemens brings 20 years of networking experience to his new role as senior vice president of operations and engineering for Work.com. Prior to Work.com, he was vice president of operations for Excite@Home where he was responsible for broadband Internet service delivery. Previously, Clemens was vice president of Engineering and Operations for NETCOM and held several network engineering positions with Concert Communications and British Telecom.

Ezra Palmer, Editor-in-Chief
Ezra Palmer is Work.com's editor-in-chief responsible for the editorial direction of the network. Prior to joining Work.com, Palmer was editorial director of dowjones.com and Dow Jones Business News, a 24-hour news service. During his 13-year tenure at Dow Jones, Palmer was a Business and Finance columnist and one of the founders of the Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition.

Eric van Miltenburg, Senior Vice President Business Development & Operations
Eric van Miltenburg is senior vice president, business development and operations. In this role, van Miltenburg is responsible for forging strategic partnerships as well as overseeing company operations. Previously, he was vice president of business development for @Work, Excite@Home's commercial division, where he led and directed all commercial partnerships and investments. A seasoned Internet professional, van Miltenburg created @Work's initial business plan and directed strategic alliances with large telcos, cable operators and public utilities while at NETCOM.

David Williams, Senior Vice President, Product Marketing & Sales
David Williams is senior vice president of product marketing and sales. In this role, he leads product and marketing strategy for the network and oversees global sales operations. He was co-founder of Work.com and co-developed the company's business plan. During his tenure at Excite, Williams led development of excite.com's Business Channel and held senior roles in a variety of product areas including senior producer of financial & investment content, senior producer of e-Commerce, director of sponsorship sales, and director of business Development. Previous to Excite, Williams was general manager of the personal software division of Micrografx, Inc, where he led all product marketing and business activities.
